Cheesy fabric. Online looked like a linen or at least a polyester linen look-a-like but IRL has a sort of small checkered weave and a tacky sheen. It's also not as bright white as I'd hoped for. But probably worse than that is that the blackout backing only covers the center portion of the back of the shade--there is a border of 4-6" on either side where the light comes through.     • Stylish And Sturdy Real Roman Shade-y

The media could not be loaded. A decently made shade like this Eclipse Lane Roman Shade that should easily provide several years of service doesn’t come cheap. However, it doesn’t have to break the bank either, and this lovely, soft and stylish shade is a great example of a happy medium between great quality and fair pricing. The nice basket weave fabric which is as soft as it looks and it’s straight, solid stitching with no loose or hanging threads won me over right out of the box. The easy installation with click in place brackets couldn’t be more foolproof, and the instructions were concise and clearly written, as well as illustrated with color photos. The screws were typically cheap pot metal, and three of the four either fell apart or stripped easily, but I’ve learned that with all window treatments to use real 1-inch stainless steel screws from hardware stores. Believe me, I’ve done hundreds of these shades and blinds over the years, and always use my own screws. I just like to test the stuff that comes with them for review purposes. The shade looks great up or down, and from close up or far away. Really nice styling and the high build quality gets the full five stars from me. Definitely satisfied with these! I would maybe order a smaller size next time. My windows measured 23in so I ordered the 23in ones but would’ve been fine with 22in. The instructions were not very clear but once I figured it out the rest were easy to install. I’d prefer a video instruction link but the QR code just goes to the website. Definitely need to use a level! ... show more

I was not expecting this to be so beautiful. It’s made with a very thick heavy duty total blackout shade. I love that this is so simple and easy to pull down or retract and everything is hidden! This shade is made of a patterned and woven fabric. I truly appreciate that this is sooooo simple to install and click into place. And even easier once it’s up to UNVELCRO the shade for a quick and easy cleaning…. Like so thoughtful I now want cordless shards in all my room lol. This fits like a dream and I used as an inside mount. I unfortunately have a window right where my bathroom vanity is and the mirror. It’s a pain to open and close every day and the lighting is horrible for doing makeup. So this shade really makes a huge difference and I can adjust how much light or even if I want any light in. Super cool shade and great for a teenager or young child’s room! No choking hazards or pull cords hanging which I love. Highly recommend this item! ... show more
