    • After several weeks of heavy use.
I have used this to cut large brush almost 6 feet tall up to 3/4" thick weeds and 1/2" trees. I have been using .155 weedeater line. That is right, this speed feed 500 head on here surprisingly will let you load .155 line without modification. The only bad thing about using .155 line is that if you don't keep it very tight while winding it on, it will get trapped under itself inside the speed feed head. It is usually easy to take the head apart, recover the line and load it back in. The .095 line I haven't had problems with trapping itself in the head so far. I would be surprised if it doesn't sometime in the future. Every weedeater I have owned in the past has afterall at some point. I wish it came with 2 speed feed heads so I wouldn't have to change lines out. I will buy another though. Be sure to hang on tight when using .155 line weedeating heavy brush. This thing is powerful and will pull heavy to the right if it hits a very tough piece of brush or small stubborn tree. To be honest, this thing makes me want to make videos on YouTube or another type of platform. ... show more

Junk. Will not start. I’ve tried two different 2-cycle fuels and it will not start. I ordered and it came from a third part seller, Have A Part. I am attempting a refund and will update. For now, buyer beware. Update: the seller informed me that there would be a $250 restocking fee on top of having to pay to return it because fuel was added. Not sure how else to tell an engine works or not. So theoretically, this seller can sell a machine that doesn’t work repeatedly and get $250 each time. Save yourself the headache and purchase this and similar items from a big box store. It’ll be much easier to deal with, if it doesn’t work. Good luck. ... show more

This is my second ECHO weedeater I have bought. The first one was purchased at Home Depot 18 yrs ago. I have always liked the echo brand over all others. I have had homelite and weedeater brands, and they don't compare to Echo. My old echo weedeater still runs but it takes forever to get it started. I will keep using it, until it quits.
