Saw was good straight out of the box. I needed another firewood saw as my 272xp is having oiling issues and is 20 years old now. I couldn't justify getting another pro saw for the amount of work I do now. I read a lot of reviews and watched a lot of videos and decided to give the echo a try. I cut a full f250 truckload stacked front to back with gas left in the tank. The 272 would have ran out. I expect the echo to get better as I run a few tanks through it. A friend of mine bought a Husqvarna so that he could cut down a white oak tree stump, needless to say it crushed the Husqvarna , he bought a knife to a gunfight so I bought this echo and I bought a gun to a gunfight it works great and it did the job

Very good replacement for a Husqvarna 460. Less expensive than the husky and some parts even appear to be slightly higher quality. Very solid feeling saw.

Chainsaw will not work, seller is no help. No warranty. Will be costly to repair. Packaging was previously opened. Be aware of who you buy from. Echo does make a good product. I have used Echo chainsaws before and wanted to get one. I guess I got a lemon.
