We had one of these for 15 years with no problems. The motor went out and we purchased a new one. The motor was bad in the new one but it was under warranty and we got it replaced and it has been working perfectly ever since.

Works great! I just unboxed it today and used it with the straight trimmer attachment to trim up the yard, then used it with the cultivator attachment to turn the soil in the flower beds. Ran through a whole 32 oz can of premix. Love it!

PAS-2620 bought from Amazon arrived yesterday. I assembled it and noticed its box was slightly crushed like it was dropped and landed on its bottom. And then a loose screw fell out of its box as I cut throw its tape. Everything inside the box looked to be in good new condition. After 10 minutes of running, broken parts dropped onto the ground. Aluminum cooling fans had cracked apart, and a steel washer fell out. I haven't disassembled to find where the broken parts came from, but with so many broken cooling fins cracked and fallen, the engine will not be cooled, and will die young. I can only say the box must have been dropped from a 5 foot height, and landed on its bottom. I can't blame ECHO ... show more

Typical Echo quality item. Starts one pull, lots of power. Sold my 12 yr old Echo and purchased this quick change type. Got good money for the old one, still ran perfect.

    • Missing Parts
The harness and bolt that holds attachments in was missing. The part that tightens the bolt was there but not the bolt. Not sure if the box was opened or that is the way it came from the manufacturer.
