Light weight, less than the stihl 150 and better balanced. I like to put on a 1/4" sprocket and a tapered 12" or 14" bar, as the 3/8" bar/sprocket it comes with seems bigger than needed, but does work. The oiler seems to go out after a year or so of regular use, but that's easy to replace with the internets. I've purchased and heavily used half a dozen of these. I'd say they're less durable than stihl/husky overall, but not overly cheap and the lower price, lighter weight, and better balance for the size makes these really great tree saws for climbers. Vroom vroom.

My brother in law had one of these and liked his, so i ordered one of my own. Then Helene came. Our property in Georgia was trashed! This little gem came through with flying colors! Put to use for weeks on end, it never failed to start, is light weight enough to handle with one hand if necessary, and fuel efficient. It's a very welcome addition to my saw stable (ok, this one makes 2)!

Great little saw. The box (that looked unopened by the reseller) did not include the bar. I was able to contact the reseller directly and they sent the appropriate bar for the stock chain. I use it with the 1/4 pitch Panther setup so I don't have any comments on the stock bar and chain right now but I will buy from Jacks Small Engines again (if I can't get something easily in Cali).

The saw is very light weight (5-6 lbs) and powerful for its size. However, I am disappointed as during the 1st day of log cutting/ tree pruning I noticed the chain oil cap kept getting loose. I tightened it each time. However, I didn't check it quick enough the 3rd time and it was lost in the woods. Ordered new parts; lost 3 days of productivity.

I purchased a Echo chainsaw from causeway Motors for of $400. Before I purchased I read a number of reviews. I also contacted licensed tree removers in my area because I wanted to get real person input. When the chainsaw arrived I contacted a small motors repair service near me and walked through how to install the bar and chain. I did all of this because I wanted to make sure I was well informed and took all safety precautions with a piece of equipment that was new to me. I used the chainsaw ONCE literally ONCE and it cut a tree branch that had fallen on a fence (roughly 6” in diameter) I had to keep stopping and starting because the chain brake kept getting stuck in the on position. I stopped using the chainsaw after about 10 minutes because of this issue. I then took the chainsaw to have someone look at it and help me understand what was wrong. They inspected it and said the unit was defective and I should contact the manufacturer. I then went on amazon. THE SAME DAY and processed a return explaining the unit was defective. I was issued a return label. Without postage. I had to pay $30 to return the chainsaw. I sent the package with a tracking number which means it was weighed for shipping. I was sure to include all components of the saw including the owners manual and ancillary parts so that there were no issues with the return. I knew I needed to repurchase the chainsaw once the rerun was completed. A few days later I received a credit to my account for roughly $200. When I Contacted the seller causeway I was told that a restocking fee of over $250 was deducted because the chainsaw bar was not returned with the machine and the machine was operated “extensively” with the chain brake on. Again the ENTIRE reason for the return was because the chainbrake kept getting stuck during the 10 minutes of use. I share all of this detail with you to warn you NOT to purchase a chainsaw or any other product from Causeway even if they claim it has a warranty Because they may ship you a defective product and then charge you a large restocking fee to ship it back to them. Keep in mind I also contact Echo and they have a 100% no questions asked warranty. So causeway could have forwarded the chainsaw on to the manufacturer and solved the customers problem You are better off going to Your local Home Depot or other store where they honor the manufacturers warranty 100% Summary if you do buy online from Amazon DO NOT BUY from Causeway

I bought the product through Affirm, thinking I'd get it working right away. It arrived defective, with loose parts inside. Naturally, I didn't bother assembling it, filling it, or starting it. I took a video, packed it back, and wrote to the seller asking for a replacement, but they refused. So I refused completely and demanded a refund and a return label. But four days have passed since I discovered the defect, and they still haven't sent me the label. I'll never deal with this brand again. After a week of arguing, I finally sent the saw back at my own expense, paying $70, but then the seller again refused to refund the shipping. Ultimately, Amazon refunded both the shipping and the saw.
