I bought this propane-fueled water heater/shower for warmer weather when I bathe my dogs (4 of them) on the back deck. I'd been using the garden hose, but the water was pretty chilly, even in super hot weather. When I tried setting this up the first time I realized immediately that the sprayer hose/shower head was faulty. I was a bit disappointed that customer service was only by email and an appointment had to be made. So I had to wait nearly 24 hrs for a reply. The customer rep was easy to work with, and gave some suggested things to try. It took another 24 hrs before I could test the system again (emails arrived in my in box when it was dusk outside, so I had to wait until daylight before trying each "fix.") The connector for the propane tank is a bit awkward and you need two wrenches to tighten the fitting properly. Once I got the replacement shower wand and hose (at no cost, and relatively quickly) I was delighted with how quickly the water heated up as the unit performed exactly as I had hoped. Unfortunately the weather has turned cold, so I haven't been able to use the system to bathe the dogs. I'll have to wait until next Spring to get to use it. ... show more

From the first time I used it it wasn't heating the water much at all. It was windy and we assumed it was just because the pilot light kept getting blown out. I bought for my extended traveling trip for the summer 2022. After 3 uses the pump broke. I contacted the company and it took them a week to get back to me. After going back and forth for 2 more weeks I finally was given a return number. When I sent the pump back I also sent an email with tracking number and the address to send the replacement to. They responded to this email and said they would let me know when the product had been received. Next thing I knew I got an email stating the package had shipped to an address I NEVER gave them!! It took them another 2 weeks to get me a new pump sent to the right address and they even addressed it wrong again after I sent them the correct address twice. This new pump sounds like the other one before it went out, its not pumping correctly and now my heater isn't working correctly either. For the amount of money I spend on this I shouldve just gone with joolca. The attachments for the pump aren't even the correct size for standard garden hoses, and this is probably the most cumbersome "portable" hot water setup i could've gotten IF it even ever works. When you turn the shower head off to save water (I'm camping and only have 6 gallon containers) this seems to stress the pump out, plus it shuts off the propane. This gives you a lovely blast of ice cold water when you turn it back on waiting for the heater to light and actually heat the water again. Terrible setup, not easy, requires a 20lb propane tank and would never recommend this for anyone actually traveling and looking for a quick simple setup. ... show more

This system has great pressure and gets really hot, really quick. Just be careful and start with both water and heat on the lowest setting and make small adjustments as needed. We absolutely love it!

This works perfectly for our outdoor camping shower, however it is not waterproof, so it kind of defeats the purpose. The water pressure is great though, however the on/off switch is very difficult to move. The same is with my father's who has the exact same model.
