Description

New and improved P-SB7 Spirit Box Rev 8. Now with Bluetooth so you can connect it to a Bluetooth Speaker if you want even better audio. No more cords! This is the 8th revision and latest revision of the "SB7" and was released in November 2025. The Spirit Box still has the ATDD (automatic temperature deviation detection). ATDD is an alert that goes off when the temp changes by +/- 5F. All the other functions are there as well. This version of the SB7 has a half frequency step between each frequency which allows for more and clearer communication to come through. Also an extra fast sweep rate of 50ms has been added. As before it scans from 76 mHz to 87.9 mHz which is a wider range than other similar devices. You can choose between FM and AM It uses 3 AAA batteries (not included).

This works amazing! Bought it for fun to take with me to cemeteries, and when I tried it at my house, I was very surprised at how much it worked. If you use headphones, it's much easier to hear as opposed to not using headphones. Definitely worth spending $100 and it's very easy to set up.

Sorry my video is very draggy but it mostly explains everything I’d say it’s biggest flaws are audio and price. But otherwise it’s really good, it’s pretty durable but it would probably break if you dropped it from standing height. It functions as needed very simplistic and good for beginners. Took this to both locations and got a lot of stuff. Did an estes method as well and sound was so good even with cheap NC headphones I couldnt hear people around me. Size wise, very compact and easily stored. Just be careful of the antenna. Just wish it was a bit cheaper. I thought it would be a bit more heafty than it actually was, for the price I was paying.     • I didn't order the Ghost Augustine SB7 but thats what came.
I'm giving the SB7 a 2 star review and am so irritated. I'm surprised at how cheap it looks and feels, and I'm confused because this is the Ghost Augustine SB7 and it didn't show that or have it listed anywhere. It literally feels like a toy, and I'm not happy about spending 100 dollars on a toy that doesn't even have batteries. There's an opening for a DC cord, but there's no cord in it. So basically you have to hunt for a cord that has to match the device perfectly because the prong is super small. I read plenty of reviews and the information, and was under the impression that I comes with batteries. Spoiler alert, there are ZERO batteries. In the item description it says it needs 2 AAA batteries and doesn't list it as having batteries in the box, but the packaging had labels on it that clearly showed batteries were supposed to be in the box. Also, it says on the back of the radio that it takes 3 AAA batteries. So I have no idea if this is even the SB7 I ordered because the details in the item description clearly state 2 batteries is needed but the actual radio clearly shows that 3 AAA batteries are required. I'm actually getting more irritated the more I type this because the price is outrageous for this to be so cheap and the item details are just false. If I wanted the cheap Ghost Augustine spirit box, I would've ordered that one. Somehow thats what I ended up with, no batteries at all and there's a cheap fake leather pouch for it. I don't want the pouch, I wanted the actual item I ordered and the batteries that everyone else had included in their box. I've never held such an expensive piece of plastic and feel like I got duped. False description and falsely advertised. Unbelievable! ... show more
