So far I have nothing to dislike about this unit. Two panels can fully charge the unit in 8 hours in southern Texas without tracking. They can charge it 90% in 6 hours from noon to 6pm. You must buy a $7 "Y-connector". The items arrived two days later than initially promised on the prime ordering screen quickly (5 days from date of order) but that's pretty fast for a heavy item (25 pounds maybe?). The unit cannot charge and output power at the same time. It's an exceptional deal at $0.50c/w after discounts that are commonly available. This was super easy to set up. But I will need a longer cable so I can store the unit inside the house. Right now I have to put it outside with a box or table over it to protect it from rain (and I'd have to run out and bring it in).

I’ve been looking at solar generators for several months, and when I saw this one available, I decided it was time to buy. It is easy to operate and the instructions are pretty good. I’ve been plugging everything I can into it just to play around. I’ve been staying under the wattage limit and haven’t had any issues.

We have used it during storms when we have lost power. Has enough juice to run a small fridge, our TV, and charge all of our devices all night. Solar panel work very well, but must be in direct unblocked sun. You will have to adjust the position to keep full sun. It takes us about 3 hours to charge from 30-40% to full charge.

So, I've updated my review from a 1 to a 4. Look below the line for the earlier review. I contacted EBL, and they quickly sent me a replacement, and I shipped back the old one. I've now been testing this under 250w load for the past 5 hours, and it is running well (previous one lasted 2 minutes). I have been pleased with EBL's support, and fast turnaround. I would encourage anyone that buys one to be sure to test it after delivery -- plug a bunch of stuff into it (as long as under 1000w) and ensure that it can power for the duration. Don't wait to test it until your first outage! --------- This purchase has been a disaster. I had my first outage and tried to use it last week. Attached a modem and router to it -- consuming about 100w. It dies after 5 minutes. It can only be woken up by plugging into a car charger. I try it again, and it dies quickly again. Next day, I try out with my laptop which has a 130W Power Supply. It dies quickly. I try out with my desktop and screens -- 200W consumption -- it dies after a minute. Now I'm left with a 20lb brick that I have to somehow ship back. My advice is to just buy a Jackery from Costco of something. Save yourself the hassle with this.

We live in a motorhome. There's not always power where we go, and we can always run our gas generator. This ran our TV, PS4, sound bar, and printer for over 7 hours, and only used about 50% of it capacity. We also used it to charge devices and power the coffee maker. Absolutely love this thing!

Unpacking and setting the solar panels up for charging was simple and easy to figure out. Once set up it began charging and I was very excited to try it out. Once charged I brought into the house to begin plugging things in that we would want to use in an emergency/power outage... I tried our pellet stove, fridge, tea kettle and the portable heater that we use in our bathroom - none of these were able to work with this system - power began but generator would shut off after 1-3 seconds when the power draw was too much. Unfortunately the concept is great but too expensive to have around for laptops and cell phones. Will be returning and looking for another higher wattage unit. - UPDATE... contacted seller and they promptly provided shipping labels for a quick and easy return.

Sent this one back.., and got a full refund. The one I kept is awesome... Charged it up when I got it, took it camping the following weekend... and it powered up... coffee pot... the electric grill... the radio... and our phones and fans at night. Didn't have to recharge til we got home 2 days later. Very happy with this unit.

The media could not be loaded. I have been using this portable power station for the last few weeks as a portable power source to charge my drones while on the field. It has 2 household style charging ports as well as a cigar lighter style charger which is nice since it is DC powered and charges faster. It also has USB ports that work great for fast charging phones and tablets. Plugging in the solar panels is very simple because of the MC4 style connectors, which allow for safe connections and provide water resistance. Each solar panel is rated for 100 watt charging each, and on my experience I can easily get 80 to 90 watt charging on each when angled directly to the sun. The two house AC outlets are pretty close to each other, so if you plug in a large power brick, you might block the other outlet. UPDATE: POWER STATION STOPPED WORKING AFTER ABOUT 3 MONTHS.
