The Westinghouse iGen160s Portable Power Station is a small but rugged off- grid portable generator that supports charging for all your necessities and electronic devices, GoPros, drones, lights, or speakers. It’s engineered without an engine for clean power without the hassle of fumes, fuel, or noise to make it an ultra-versatile silent power source that is maintenance-free. With solar panel capability, the iGen160s will work in unison with any solar panel that has a DC13V-25V/2A Max port. With 100 running watts and 150 peak watts, this station is designed for outdoor activities like camping, tailgating, or festivals where you need power on the go. Functional for indoor use as well, it conveniently comes with a reading light and a dual mode flashlight for low light environments. The iGen160s is extremely compact and lightweight, so it can easily be tucked away into your bag or vehicle storage compartment while a built-in handle allows it to be hooked onto gear or easily carried. A premium power solution as compared to basic 5000 mAh power banks, it’s got more power for longer with more options for different charging requirements. I got this more for powering/charging our iPads and Mac laptops when they are almost out of power and I didn't want to run a cable from a receptacle. I use it weekly on kitchen table (patio table in summer) to charge and power and eliminate a long cord and charger in the wall outlet. It's provided excellent service and in that I'm exercising its internal battery routinely, its performance and long output between charges hasn't degraded at all. I know come an emergency or power outage, this small and well made power bank is going to be a life saver to keep our mobile phones charged so we have cellular communication. My only regret is if I had to do this again, I might have gone up one or two models for a larger battery (more capacity) and higher wattage/amps, but, I have never regretted this purchase at all and this model has still worked out so very well. 5 stars all around and I'm very satisfied with this model over 2 ½ years after I purchased it! ... show more

I purchased this Westinghouse iGen200s on my Amazon account for my mom on September 15, 2023 (she paid for it, I just ordered it). Even though it has now been a little over two years, the problem actually started much earlier. The AC outlet assembly began coming loose within the first year of owning it. The amount of use it had was extremely minimal; she only charged it maybe once a month and kept it stored safely. Despite that, the AC outlet housing came completely out within a year. The internal connectors are exposed, and the whole plug section lifts right out of the unit (photos attached). This isn’t normal wear and tear; this is a structural failure on a device that was barely used. For something meant to be a reliable backup during emergencies, this is really disappointing. A power station should not fall apart with such light, careful use. Based on our experience, I’d recommend buyers think twice before purchasing. ... show more
