Description

The Westinghouse iGen160s Portable Power Station is a small but rugged off- grid portable generator that supports charging for all your necessities and electronic devices, GoPros, drones, lights, or speakers. It’s engineered without an engine for clean power without the hassle of fumes, fuel, or noise to make it an ultra-versatile silent power source that is maintenance-free. With solar panel capability, the iGen160s will work in unison with any solar panel that has a DC13V-25V/2A Max port. With 100 running watts and 150 peak watts, this station is designed for outdoor activities like camping, tailgating, or festivals where you need power on the go. Functional for indoor use as well, it conveniently comes with a reading light and a dual mode flashlight for low light environments. The iGen160s is extremely compact and lightweight, so it can easily be tucked away into your bag or vehicle storage compartment while a built-in handle allows it to be hooked onto gear or easily carried. A premium power solution as compared to basic 5000 mAh power banks, it’s got more power for longer with more options for different charging requirements. The control panel houses two household outlets and four USB ports which include a USB-C and QualComm Quick Charge 3.0 port for faster charging. Combined with three 5.5 mm 12V DC outputs, the Westinghouse iGen160s is the perfect little companion to take with you anywhere that you can depend on.

  • Nice Backup Unit
Style: 155 Watt Hours
This is a well-made backup power unit - Westinghouse reliable. It charges quickly and holds a charge for a very long time. The fact that it has the capability of powering both AC and DC units is a real plus along with the fact that there are separate buttons to access the AC and DC power. Very easy to use. I actually got this unit for FREE! My local power company had this on a list of eligible refund units. I completed the refund application on-line and received a check for the full amount that I paid. So check with your local power company and see if they are offering a rebate for this unit. You may be able to get one FREE, but even if you have to pay for one - this is a great unit at a very good price. ... show more

  • Great little power station
Style: 155 Watt Hours
Great little power station, charged fast and really appreciated the light it had and the USB ports alongside the outlets. Value for money isn't the best though if you may possibly be running more powerful equipment later on - for 4x the price (400) you can find something with 12x (1800) output watts. But if you're not thinking about any of that, this is golden. ... show more

  • Nice little power station
Style: 155 Watt Hours
I bought this for use with my telescope dew heaters and Primary mirror fan. Very compact, very well made. What I like is that it has enough 12v plug in features to cover all my telescope needs without being overkill. I wish it charged a little faster but once charged it will last for quite a while before needing charged again. It comes with a couple adapters for your typical 12v car type plug. The 3 built in 5.5mm x 2.1mm style barrel jack plug are a perfect match for my dew heater plugs. It also has two 120V plugs, 3 USB, and 1 USB-C plugs. so, during a power outage, I can also use this to power a laptop, charge a phone, or power a lamp. The two built in flashlights are a nice added option. Very simple and easy to use. ... show more

  • Westinghouse iGen160s Portable Power Station, NOT a Generator.
Style: 155 Watt Hours
The product is small, compact, light weight & easy to use and transport. When fully charged, the battery gives you approx. 2-3hrs of energy. I use it to power small lamp for fishing at night and to recharge phone or small misc. rechargeable devices. Only neg--- the control buttons protrude, so the device easily turns itself on if the buttons accidently come in contact with something. So be mindful where/how you store or pack it after it is charged. Overall, I would recommend the device for the purpose for which I listed. The device is NOT a generator, only a handy rechargeable battery. ... show more

  • A real workhorse
Style: 155 Watt Hours
I bought mine about five years ago, and sadly it's just now starting to hold low charges. It might not be strong enough to run something like, say, a box fan (I tried this during a power outage once, nope, didn't last long). But I mainly bought it to power p2p internet radios and my laptop (sometimes both at the same time) while I'm working my day job, and it's one of the best investment I ever made. It's remained strong and sturdy after all these years, and has survived getting knocked around every day in my backpack while I move about. It really is a workhorse of a thing. Highly recommended, if you feel like you need this sort of thing. ... show more
