I bought the 1200w kit for my wife and then purchased the 1500w kit fir myself. We are really enjoying these bikes. I am hitting max speeds of 45mph on the 1500w and around 37mph on the 1200w on full throttle. It took about 45 minutes for me to install. I used the 52v 16ah shark battery from Ebikeling for both kits and can get around 40 miles on a full charge without pedal assist. I would definitely recommend this product.

Just finished installing on my tandem bikes. I had to do some modifications to make it work. The kit is awesome so far. I will ride the bike more and add more info. So far everything is working perfectly and I try contacting the company and they were so responsive. For price is a steal. // one year latter I bought this 7/15/2019 and wrote less than 200 miles on it. Rim got cracked and can not be true, I emailed the company and it was their response Sorry for the issue you have with the rim. Unfortunately, we are not able to replace it as the unit is no longer warranty covered. So disappointing . That's why it was cheap .I learned my lesson.

Super excited I got the kit, installed it and charged up. I went to go on the first ride and the display wasn't working properly, everything else was fine. I was oh man here we go, I shot them an e-mail and right away they got back to me and sent me a new one out. They sent me a return postage for the bad part and sent it back the same time the new on was coming. Stuff happens and they took care of it quick. There is 50 miles on the kit and no problems. I quit riding this bike because it was frankly more work than fun, it is a blast now. I used bigger hose clamps for the tork bars.

So I got this product and naively assumed that there would be instructions included with the items included about how to install them. There were only extremely limited instructions, such as - Step 1: remove the wheel. Step 2: Reinstall the wheel. Step 3: Connect the controlling unit... Like that. No pictures, no details, no clarity, no help. Just one sentence. That's it. Literally. I am fairly mechanically inclined, so I actually enjoyed the process. But if I were even a little less capable, it would have stymied me completely. Not being braggadocios, just letting you know in case you were expecting something simple or at least some detailed instructions. There are some mildly helpful youtube videos of folks doing their systems, but nothing that was super helpful there, either. After I got everything wired up and functioning, I went to put it in the bag that came with the kit. It was a typical triangle storage bag with velcro straps to attach it to the frame top tube and seat tube, sized correctly to hold the control unit and with spaces to allow the wires to pass out of the bag without the bag being open (like small flaps). I went to zip the bag closed and the zipper broke. Disappointed, as this is a $1100 purchase, I reached out to the company for support/replacement product. Rather than stand by their quality/company name, they just said (direct quote): I'm sorry to hear that the zip on your controller bag broke. Please note that the controller bag is provided as a complimentary item and is not necessary for the kit to function. In fact, we recommend keeping the controller outside of a case or bag during the summer for better ventilation to prevent overheating. Rest assured, the system is waterproof, so you don’t need to worry about exposure to the elements. Thank you for your understanding. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to help. (back to me) I wouldn't recommend this to just anyone, and be prepared for disappointment from the company not standing by their items, even the "complimentary items". I guess $1100 just isn't enough to buy quality these days.

Converted a Schwinn Meridian tricycle to the front wheel drive. A pleasant ride, and it will go faster than you likely will want to go. I hit 28 mph and there was more if I wanted but my plan is joust a nice cruising speed of about 15 mph and slower to negotiate turning corners. Tricycles and bicycles are quite different when it comes to cornering but on the strait away it is fun. The 1200w 16Ah battery will take you for a very nice and long distance (depending on your speed). If you are thinking about doing it, do it! You won’t be sorry.

I bought the 700C 48V 1200W motor and paired it with an 18 AH battery. Top speed is 26mph with pure motor. I have ridden it over 22 miles on a single charge using only the motor, and the battery showed about 15%-19% left. The package is very nice and easy to put together. All of the connections are color coded and everything looked to be of acceptable or even good quality. The rim weld looked a bit shoddy, but so far (50 miles ridden) it is holding up nicely, even with hard riding. Overall a very good buy, and a real blast to ride!
