I generally look for 100% wool or wool and cashmere blend for trench coats since they look and feel really good when you want to dress up. But with 90% polyester, this coat is definitely made to be worn in cooler climates. However, it does feel pretty good and they’ve nailed it in the looks department. You can wear this to the office or night on the town. I normally wear a large, but I ordered a XL since I want to be able to wear this over a suit/blazer and not have it feel too tight on me. I have had only one morning this fall where I could wear this pea coat, and I was very pleased with its performance. It is classy, but not over the top. It stepped up my game a bit beyond just business casual when I walked in the office. Had a couple of my younger co-workers ask about it as they were planning a more retro look for their fall. This is a heavy duty coat that was quite a bit larger than I expected. It is also described as a long pea coat (check the description measurements before ordering)... and it was definitely long. I ordered in the gray, and the fabric is nice quality, and the style is sophisticated. I liked the lapel style and could be a coat that is worn as dressy or casual over jeans. It is bulky and suits colder weather. The jacket is not going to work in our warmer weather, and I ordered the large for my husband, which is his usual size, but overall it did not fit, was too long, and too big. “Ebifin Mens Trench Coat Wool Blend Notch Lapel Single Breasted Long Pea Coat Casual Business Overcoat” I’m not sure why the description says “wool blend” because the tag on the coat says “90% Polyester, 10% Cotton” (so does the description in the listing). Regardless, this is a pretty nice overcoat. The medium weight material is soft and rich looking, and the coat is fully lined. It’s excellently constructed with outstanding stitching. The design elements are what sets this coat apart from others – especially in this price range. It has notched lapels, nicely padded shoulders (not too much), button strapped cuffs, a storm shield that runs around both the front and back, and two side pockets plus an inner chest pocket. Unfortunately, it runs very small compared to the measurements found in the sizing chart. I’m a 6-3, 260 pound weight lifter, and I normally wear a size XXL coat (52” chest). This coat in size XXL fits me very tightly, even though the chart says that it’s supposed to be over 53” in the chest. In fact, I can’t button the top two buttons across the chest. The sleeves are also very tight - the lining gets pulled so that it sticks out the bottom of the cuffs. There’s no way that I could wear a suit coat underneath. The weight of the coat is for cooler outdoor weather, but you probably won’t get overheated if you wear it to an indoor function and don’t take it off. Also, be ready to steam/iron the coat when you first get it. It comes with many deep set creases ... show more
