This is a review on a replacement chair that was sent by the company. The original was destroyed by the delivery company (Fe__X), literally destroyed, which included the shipping box. Upon contact with the company, without hesitation they sent out a replacement chair immediately. The original could not be returned and that was no problem. The chair went together in minutes. This one if for my wife. She is 5' 8" and weighs 150. We are both in our 70s. She will be having knee surgery in a couple of weeks, so we wanted a recliner that was electrically operated, foot and back control not lifting. She loves this chair. It is wide and very comfortable. Motor operations are absolutely silent, smooth and fairly quick. I tested this out too. I'm 6' tall and weigh 235. It is actually pretty comfortable for me. Yes, my feet hang over and my head is a bit higher than the back, but that is to be expected. This is not for someone of my height, but as to weight, it was great. I'm a vine reviewer, but I paid for this item. I will return to this review in a few months to give an update, thus I gave this 4 stars to begin with. The updated review my change this. I had this chair for less than 2 months, and it got stuck in the reclined position..Buttons on the side or the motor isn’t working.... The chair at first was very nice and comfortable and very easy to put together....but less than 2 months and I’m out $350 dollars..whose responsibility is this, Amazon or the company that made it... both companies make you jump through hoops to resolve this issue...not sure what to do but I definitely won’t order something like this from Amazon anymore....Be careful when Amazon sells something from another companies....Be aware!!!!! ... show more

The chair is beautiful! I can barely hear the motor, the fabric is very nice, buttons are easy to reach, operation is so simple that my 95 year old mother can easily use it. It is not a tall or big person chair if that's what you're needing (my husband is 6'7" and it's small for him), but I am 5'5 and only my heel is barely over the edge of the foot stool. Cushions are nice and firm so it seems it will hold it's shape very well. I would definitely recommend buying it, and I'll probably buy another one or maybe a loveseat if I can find one to match. ... show more

I'm giving this product a 3 and not less was due to the fact that the fabric is nice and it was easy to assemble. The negative points to this chair is it's very small and the some of the measurements on the actual chair don't match the description. As you will see in the picture my feet hang way over the edge of the chair and I'm 5'5. The motor on the recliner feature is very slow.
