how is it that a 50 dollar chinese controller is more well built, more intuitive to use, and all around superior to these 200 dollar scuf/turtle beach/elite controllers. its even cheaper than a first party base xbox controller. this thing has no creak whatsoever, it is built to last. packaging is great. the buttons on this thing are PERFECT. it's like they got the perfect balance between clickiness and press depth so that it doesnt feel weird. one of the issues i have with the high end mechanical switch controllers is the clickiness always just felt off to me. not these. d pad is great. programming the buttons in the back takes about 10 seconds and it just works. the 2.4 ghz just works. very impressed with this thing. ... show more

I had searched for the past couple of months for a controller that had my desired features— mechanical buttons, Hall effect joysticks, re-mappable back buttons, and 1000mhz polling rate. The controller needed to be reliable for gun fights, and not disconnect (even when wired)… You would think that disconnect issues wouldn’t be an issue, but I have heard of several “pro”/“competitive” controllers having disconnect errors quite often… I wanted a Scuf, though I had heard customer service isn’t too keen on helping, and controller reliability is questionable… Nonetheless, this controller has exceeded my expectations for it being only $50. The shell feels just like a regular Microsoft controller, so if you’re looking for something similar, this would be a great candidate. I will update if any errors are encountered, though as of now, the controller is great. ... show more

Can't find anything to dislike, and plenty to like! 1. Wireless via the dongle has no noticeable lag and no disconnects so far. 2. Mechanical face buttons feel very nice. 3. It’s a good choice if you want to play games like shooters or Rocket League, as in my case. The joysticks are really precise, and the entire controller feels like it’s of good quality. The first time I connected it, it was recognized as an Xbox 360 controller. The next day, the controller didn’t pair, but after a forced pairing, it was recognized as a USB controller. Since then, it pairs instantly every single time. For now, it’s much better than the original Xbox controller, especially the joysticks. ... show more

PRO'S - (1) Pricing. (2) It's a solid controller that feels premium when holding it or pressing buttons. I almost purchased an expensive scuf controller that would have cost $200. I am glad I saved my money and purchased this instead. (3) I have tested multiple devices such as Lenovo Legion Go, PC, and Samsung Galaxy S23, all worked. CON'S - (1) The controller has it's issues. For example, it comes with an app that allows you to configure the deadzones, triggers, etc... but I believe it's only available for android users. The application is called "EASYSMX" and it's not available to download in the app store. You'll need to google it. The app itself has questionable permissions, download it, configure controller, and uninstall it. (2) If you're planning to use the controller with Steam, make sure you connect the wireless adapter before opening up the Steam application, otherwise, the controller won't adapt to your steam controller settings. Even worse, you may have to restart your entire computer and once again open up Steam. (3) When switching between bluetooth and adapter dongle mode, you can accidently disconnect the controller from the adapter and both the controller and adapter will begin flashing. To fix this, simply look for the small button on your USB dongle adapter and press or hold it until the controller is once again connected. Overall, I have enjoyed the controller, it's both accurate in 3rd person & 1st person games and feels like any expensive premium controller. No need to look else where and purchase an over priced controller. IMO buy one now while it's $50 or on sale. It was initially released at $30 and because it received so much praise, they increased their pricing to $50. It's possible the price could go up again. I highly recommend it, Goodluck! ... show more

So far I’m very impressed by this controller. Very solid and all buttons feel good. Have only used it with the pc so far but really like that other connection type options that are available. The faceplates is a fun idea and hope they offer some custom designs in the future. If I’m feeling daring enough I might just sacrifice a set (comes with 2) and paint my own. I had been looking for months for a new decent controller that wasn’t too expensive. Have only been using it for a month but no issues yet. Awesomeness all the way around. ... show more

Easysmx always makes some great controllers that last a long time. This one might just be the best. It feels great in the hands and is easy to set up and use. This is a much better choice to buy than the official Xbox controller, which only lasts 3 to 4 months of heavy gaming.

The media could not be loaded. I really like the responsiveness of the sticks overall for 8$ less than I paid for my 8bitdo pro 2 it seems well worth the money. So far I have only been playing on 2.4Ghz but there is no lag. However the left trigger squeaking on slow press after a few hours use has me a bit annoyed. Seeing no other reviews about this I am going to assume its a one off issue and i am getting a replacement. Very annoyed at the fact that I have to print labels and deal with this because I was sent an item I consider defective. I'll update my review once I get a replacement. If I continue to have squeaking trigger on the replacement, I will opt for refund and lower this review from 3 to 1... Note right trigger had no issues ... show more
