  • Very Helpful Company
Color: White
The corms showed up looking healthy. I planted according to instructions found online, but unfortunately my corms did not grow. I was very detailed about my planting and wanted to know if I’d missed something so I reached out their customer service via the provided email that came with my package for questions or concerns. I received prompt help and after working through the information I concluded that the high desert where I live may just not be their environment. The rep offered me a refund even though I hadn’t requested one. Their help and resolution was very helpful and fair. I will consider them when buying other bulbs in the future. ... show more

  • No germination!
Color: Pastel Mix
I was extremely disappointed with these Ranunculus Tecolote 'Pastel Mix' Plant Bulbs. Despite following all planting instructions carefully, none of the bulbs germinated. None! I had high hopes for a beautiful display of pink, yellow, and white blooms in my garden, but was left with nothing but bare soil. This product did not live up to its promises and was a complete waste of time and money. I would not recommend these bulbs to anyone looking to add vibrant colors to their garden. Save yourself the frustration and choose a different brand. ... show more

  • So far, so good!
Color: Salmon
Like I do for every flower I've planted, I followed Floret Flowers' instructions for these ranunculus corms. I planted in fall for better blooms come spring and at this point they've all sprouted successfully, so I have high hopes for their blooms - of course, I'll return to update my review. You'll want to soak the corms in water for 3-4 hours with water trickling in to add oxygen as they soak. They nearly double in size! Then you can either sprout them indoors and transplant or plant them directly. I planted them directly outside and they all have leaves sprouted, and I'm sure they'll go dormant before coming back in spring! Fall planting means they'll come earlier and provide more blooms than if they're planted in spring - bearing in mind that I'm in zone 7, which has a relatively mild winter. Keep an eye on them so they don't get too wet, as they can rot/get moldy, which is the end of them. I have mine in a raised planter bed with a pop-up greenhouse cover so that I can ensure they don't get soaked. The cover will also protect them from frost (just frost cloth is enough to protect them) and keep them from getting exhumed by rodents. I'm thrilled with these so far and can't wait to get to see them in bloom! ... show more

  • Bulbs came in very sad shape, didn't hardly grow. Waist of money..
Color: Purple
I bought 3 packs of these beautiful flowers & will not buy them again. I followed all the instructions & my plants are all dying. Not one flower & they look like weeds. Out of 30 bulbs I only have 3 that appear to be hanging on so we will see how they do. Edited 1 month later- (They did NOTHING. Went out & had to purchase another $54.00 in New flowers for my garden.) $40.00 worth of plants & only less than a handful is so unacceptable. I wish I could get my money back. I don't recommend anyone buying these bulbs. More than 1/2 of what I received were so small & nothing to them. I only got about maybe 3 bulbs that were nice & plumb even though they come dried out, they were still a nice size. The others were shreaded, nothing to them at all & they did not survive even in my green house. I am extremely disappointed & wish I just went & spend the money on flats, which I had to do now anyway. Could kick myself at this point. I've germinated & grown my own bulbs before so it's not like I didn't know what I was doing. My father, a retired horticulturist told me that I was lucky to get a few. Bulbs were too small & freyed to hold their own. That, coming from a professional. He was right! Waisted money & I'm very upset about the $$$ lost. Only have 1 star. Got an extremely numbered crop. ... show more

  • Big size variation between corms
The media could not be loaded. They give you 50 corms although they very in size and a lot were broken during shipment.

  • All sprouted
Color: Salmon
I thoroughly rinse and soaked the corms before presprouting. Then left them in the dark (covered with newspaper) in a colder bathroom. I checked on them after a week and waited to see green before removing the newspaper covers. When they looked dry, I would use a spray bottle to heavily mist the top instead of saturating. After a lot of research, the consensus is root rot is a common demise. It's early February in VA so I can't transplant them now and may have started them early but was excited to see if I could get these to grow. I have already separated some of the ones that shared a pot early on and into bigger pots. My guess is that early will be okay and just means I might have to get them into bigger pots which might be a pain for something kept indoors. Multiple big pots indoors will be taking up more space than I'd like. They also get their daily light requirements by means of an artificial grow light on the natural setting. UPDATE- I started a bit too early with these. While having success presprouting, that only meant i had to keep these alive indoors longer while waiting to go outside. This is where I failed. So, keep in mind- TIMING! Just read a book about planting perennials in the fall so that they can become hardy over winter. My new goal will be to start in the fall. It's challenging for me to keep outdoor plants alive indoors in this old house. No wind, it's dry, and it faces North so all living beings fight for window light here. I'm left with a side yard to share the longest exposure to sun. ... show more

  • Poor results
Color: Salmon
I'm a very experienced gardener. I started these indoors under grow lights and got good initial growth. I hardened them off in the spring and planted them outdoors in great conditions. Some grew a little, some died off, none produced flowers.
