I ordered the 24 pack and received two of each plant, they arrive in cell blocks of six each, each cell block had a perfect twin. Just be aware that might happen. I'm very please with the plants, they look beautiful and healthy. Plant them in larger pots quickly, almost all of them had roots just kissing the pot, needed an upgrade. Very good value. My husband is a tightwad (but a plant lover like me), and he was impressed. Obviously not as cheap as getting them from your neighbor, but a very good value! ... show more

This is now my second order with Plants for pets and all I can say is I’m so in love with them! If you want gorgeous house plants along with the best and super fast customer service I 1000% recommend them and will recommend them forever. I was skittish to get live houseplants off of Amazon but I’m glad I made the choice to go through this vendor. Not only do they support local shelters with purpose they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I purchased the first bundle of 6 and (I am fully aware that it’s by random selection) but had received two English Ivys, unfortunately I’m super allergic to them and gave them to my daughter however they all came and looked so beautiful. So much that I had purchased I believe the set of 36? 34? Idk the bigger bundle. Afterwords I had messaged the customer service email and explained that I was allergic and was wondering if I could receive my package WITHOUT the English ivy within minutes I got a response email stating that unfortunately they couldn’t do that but if I let her know how many came she would send out replacements. A couple days later I got my package and had received three more and took a picture and sent it to her and within the week I had beautiful plants THAT I WASNT ALLERGIC TO! At my door! Mind you I was fully aware that it is RANDOM SELECTION but they went way above and beyond to make sure I loved everything I got plus more and didn’t even have to send a replacement but I absolutely cherished it and loved how they took care of me although they definitely did not have to do that.     • I'm disappointed
I picked the 24 pack, thinking that meant I'd get a big assortment of plants with a few repeats. Hahaha, wrong. I got multiples of the same 5 plants with only one or two unique plants in the bunch. So disappointing. I picked this company because they help pets and I thought that was great. I can get behind that concept. I received my plants pretty fast, too. That's a good thing, as you'll soon see. My issues? Let's see. Some of the plants I got weren't even labeled. Several were so over watered they risked root rot and most of them were missing soil - some barely had any soil at all clinging to the roots and it was closer to mud than soil. Some have brown spots on the leaves and others have holes. I had to spray for gnats, too. It's a good thing I had the potting soil on hand because I had to immediately repot Every Single Plant - 24 plants in all. I was hoping to give them a few days to recover from being shipped, but due to the condition they arrived in, that wasn't possible, and I'm crossing my fingers and hoping they survive. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. If you order from them, be sure to have potting soil and pots on hand. 2.5 out of 5 stars. ... show more

Amazing! Arrived in wonderful condition and even had a card stating a portion of the money goes to local animal shelters. How wonderful! The plants came in a sturdy box with good secure holders. Each had a stake in the 1" plant pot to help hold them up. I took 1 out of the pot to check roots and they seemed pretty good. I haven't done to any of the others since I felt they all probably had went through a lot of drama with what I assumed was recent transfer to their new pots and transport. I will update later with their continued health over the week but they LOOK healthy and strong. ... show more

These are all very good starter plants! Delivered quickly and safely due to the quality of their packaging! They all came in their own plastic wrap with a bamboo stick to keep them sturdy throughout their travels! Very healthy plants when delivered and stayed healthy after replanting! Going to reorder these spring time again, I accidentally left mine on our porch during a freezing weekend away and most died.. but a few were able to survive the freezing temps.. my fault for being a bad plant parent.. ... show more

I ordered these plants in excitement that they were on sale, however, I did not anticipate them to arrive in the condition that they did. Normally, this would not be an issue, but the plan was to hand these out to coworkers and moms/anyone I saw on the street a plant, this was supposed to be a Mother’s Day gift to Over 100+ mothers tomorrow. I have ordered much smaller quantities of plants from this grower before and have had beautiful, healthy Wonderful plants delivered to me in the past. This time, I ordered almost $300 for 144 plants And only about 40 of them look acceptable to gift. Used to really enjoy purchasing from this grower, I have I believe over eight other orders in the past that have been great. This experience has been horrible, and I will have to look for other options to gift since this seller has not reached out or responded for refund or replacement. Last photo is for reference to reassure everyone reading this review that we are not plant killers, we are plant lovers! Some of the beautiful plants you see are starts I got from this same seller, it’s a shame that this order was a flop. 10/10 do not recommend ordering (at least in large quantities. Also in total I only received about 8 different varieties of plants out of the 144. Not what you expect when there are 50+ shown on the ad. ... show more

Everything was packed nicely and the set of 24 had two each of 12 unique plants in a variety of species and color. I was afraid it would be a mystery and I wouldn't know what any were labeled as but they all had labels except two varieties and there were two that might have been mislabeled on the exact cultivar but still seemed to be Peperomia. There were some with variegated leaves as well as some that had red or purple and they were a little bigger than I expected when it said 2 inch grower pots. I got: 2 variegated pothos 2 gold child ivy 2 nephytis 2 tradescantia 2 red begonia 2 flame violets 2 spider plants 2 murdannia 2 unknown that has curly leaves and pink spines with yellow and pink inside green foliage pictures individually The other 6 were labeled as Pereromia "pixie" but seemed to be 3 different varieties (last picture) I would say they're giftable but might be more giftable after repotting. ... show more

I have been throughly pleased with all three plant orders I have placed with Plants for Pets/ Altman plants. Their customer service is amazing even when the order issues are not their fault. My first order ups kept DAYS too long over a long holiday weekend in the single digits. Needless to say much of the original 12 pack were beyond salvation. I reached out for care tips to try to save the ones that arrived and they ended up sending me another shipment, which was perfect. This time I ordered a 24 pack from their plants for Pets collection and a 12 pack from their altman brand. I opened up the boxes together and was initially disappointed at the lack of variety this time around. Total I ended up with an excessive number of Ivy (6 and not my favorite), 5 different varieties of ponthos (which I love), 3 crotons, 4 of the same type pepperomia, and 5 white nerve plants. Needles to say not a lot of variety between 36 plants, there were duplicates of everything except 1. As i was opening up the packages I grabbed similar plants to put in the houses the same time. I grabbed one of another 6 identical plants and thought..great what kind of arrowhead is this, I already have several, I looked at the tag and squealed! They were baby monstera delicosia, I have been in search of one forever but the ones I have found are out of my budget. I know I have a ton of similar plants, but the monstera were the delight of both boxes. I can't wait to see them grow. ... show more
