When we had our heated floor installed the original thermostat died in under a year. I was lazy and it took a year of my family reminding me how nice heated floors would be before I bought this. Installation was quick and easy. I was up and running in under 30 minutes. Programming was also easier on this model than on the one I replaced. I have easy heat tiles in my bathroom, the old thermostat wasn't working properly. This was easy to order, quick delivery. The hook up was a little more complicated. The real downside was the price, but it does work great and is as stated.

Replaced my thermostat that had stopped functioning. The old control (model K 0002102 8) still looked to be functioning because the LCD screen was working but the tiles failed to heat up. Tried killing the power first in hopes of it reseting but without success. Delivery was as promised and the new unit fit like a glove in the original box mounted on my bathroom wall.     • Timer is junk. On our 2nd one and probably need 3rd soon. (Installed June 2016)
Easy to install, good directions, and does what we need it to. Initially, The programmable timer Was set for a total of 8 hours a day at 85 degrees F. Our electric bill was $150 more per month on that setting. ($5 per day) A lot more than we wanted to spend, so we have turned the temp down and decreased time to 4 hours per day. We'll see what the results are. This is our second timer as the first died for no reason. The 5/2 day setting does not work on the new timer. Floor heat is on constantly in that mode. The 7 day works for now. It was quite a hassle to return the first one. Not sure I want to go through it again. But I'm sure that's the reason why the return process is so lengthy ( the manufacturer, NOT this seller). ... show more
