Honestly, I love this table and chair set! It did come with 8 chairs, the other 2 just aren’t pictured. Both my husband and I were surprise at the quality and sturdiness of the table and chairs. It was easy to put together. You will definitely need someone to help you with flipping the table after you put the legs on. It’s really heavy, which was to be expected. Probably one of the better purchases I’ve made on Amazon... that’s saying a lot! ... show more

Very heavy duty table. Absolutely gorgeous. Only small complaint is each of the chairs take a while to put together...and we had to then disassemble each one because they're impossible to get all 4 legs level. After many hours of trying everything we could think of, we just double padded the legs that were "too short". Not a big deal, certainly not worth even taking a star off because it's so beautiful and it is truly sturdy! Butterfly style extension is AMAZING. Don't know how we ever lived with a table without that feature! Would highly recommend this table and chairs, just be warned that you may need extra felt pads under some of the chair legs. ... show more

I like the fact that it was delivered on time and in excellent condition no damage whatsoever. Assembly was simple and straightforward. However, the sturdiness came into question when I extended the table and folded out the leaf to extend the length. The table had approximately a 1/2 inch sag in the middle with the leaf installed, so disappointed! I cannot recommend this table. I gave it away to my cleaning lady just to get it out of my house. Lesson learned here do not buy furniture online. Go to a furniture store examine the furniture, test it make sure it meets your standards and suits style. I am so upset with our table. We have only had it 5 months and it looks like it’s 10 years old. The finish started chipping within a week of having it. Just very normal use and gently cleaning with just a damp microfiber cloth. There are 20-30 small chips and it drives me crazy because it looks like there are crumbs all over the table. This table is maybe worth $100, not the $900 we paid for it. So very disappointed! I put a tablecloth on it when people come over because I am embarrassed of it’s condition. ... show more
