This is an excellent massage chair. We recently upgraded to this chair from another Earthlite model. While the other chair was good, we have patients that range quite a bit in height and weight. This chair is rated for up to 350 pounds and the chair is extremely sturdy and stable. All of our massage therapists have commented on how easy it is to use, and that it helps them with their body mechanics. We use the chair to serve between 15-25 patients, six days a week, and it is holding up well. Since this chair is used in our clinic and not for events, we don't use the accompanying travel carrier, however I was very impressed by its quality. Definitely a five-star product. ... show more

Beautifully crafted and extremely comfortable. Unfortunately a few brittle cheap plastic pieces that attach the cushioning to the metal frame broke off on first use. Thankfully it was me and not a client. I’m 165 lbs. 😬

    • Most Comfortable Chair

The Avila II is the most comfortable chair I have ever used. With the infinite adjustment, the client can be placed in more comfortable and workable positions than they can be on most other chairs. The down side to this is that set up requires more time, and the therapist must become very familiar with the chair for fast and efficient client adjustment. The frame is not "plastic" but carbon fiber. Company rates it to 350 lbs. Despite the strength rating, the chair has an unsteady feel....it sways from side to side a bit. It isn't drastic, and so far, most have enjoyed the rocking sensation. But some may find the looseness unsettling. This is my biggest complaint. Another little thing is the tightness of the carrying case. In my opinion, an extra quarter inch at the top would make packing this chair 300 times easier. This is the only difficulty in breaking the unit down. All the other features on this chair reflect the quality and ingenuity that I've come to expect from Earthlite. And all in all I am very pleased with the Avila II. ... show more

Perfect chair, clients love it. Sturdy frame and comfortable cushions.Easy to adjust compared to other chairs. Proper positioning of the body enables for better therapy. Wheeled carrying case makes it a breeze to transport.

Its the best one you can buy. It conforms to the body out of all the chairs iv seen. If comfort and function is what you want, get this. It is however not the sturdiest chair and u better not go over the working weight unless you wanna ruin the chair. Its still the one i prefer to use at my massage place over everything else ... show more

the seat doesn't adjust so there's no way to accommodate tall or larger sized people, the leg/shin/seat position doesn't adjust at all! Not happy with this product + there's an adjustment that holds the chest plate in place that you turn to tighten, but if someone larger size leans against it + with you pressing on their back, it moves the whole upper part of chair forward. I also received this item with a broken plastic piece where the shins go. ... show more

First of all, the chair itself is great. I love the adjustments but they take some getting used to. I did not receive the full package with the video or any instructions whatsoever- even though it said it came with it. Also, my chair came in damaged with the plastic under the cushion damaged. The box wasn't damaged so it wasn't a shipping error. It was sent to me that way. Nobody responded when I contacted the seller via email. I just received the chair in the carrying case. The seat is not adjustable but the chest pad is and the arm rest is adjustable. I love how the client can practically lay down. I wish it came with more instructions as how to accommodate all sizes. I also wish that for what I paid, it would have arrived as promised. ... show more
