I'm so happy with this purchase! The description said it was in excellent condition but to be honest it looked brand new. I only found a small scratch on the back, and even then, I only noticed it when I shined a flashlight on it. It's a lot less purple than I thought it would be though, so if you're wanting a beautiful purple color... uh, it's not going to meet your expectations there. I've never had an Apple product before, but this is such a gorgeous tablet. The screen is so beautiful, the resolution of the screen is very ideal for note taking or drawing and you can customize to your liking. If I had more money, I definitely would have invested in one with bigger storage to use it more casually. My needs are strictly for notes so I was fine to trade off storage for better bang for my buck. If you're worried about running out of space, just invest in an external drive. Unfortunately, it does not come with a screen protector. I'm slightly disappointed about that, but at least I can choose what kind of screen protector I want. It doesn't come with an Apple pencil, but the description had no mention of a stylus so definitely don't expect one. It did come with a charger though, so make sure you charge your tablet first before using it. The tablet runs very smoothly, although I haven't used it too much just yet. This review is not about the iPad Air 5th generation (2022). It is about the stellar quality of this Amazon Renewed product and the incredible value I found in purchasing a refurbished device. The iPad arrived in a generic box that was in a well-protected outer package. I inspected it immediately and found no scratches or dents that would have caused me to return it. The included accessories were not Apple accessories, but they are compatible and they do not cause the iPad to complain. The device charges fine, has 100% of the original battery life, and is impossible to tell that it was refurbished. There were no device lockouts that I had to worry about. I was able to purchase this Amazon Renewed iPad with WiFi + 5G (unlocked) and 256 GB of RAM for the same price as a new iPad with just the WiFi + 5G option. I purchased the iPad with the Asurion 4 year plan because the only real drawback to buying an Amazon Renewed iPad is that you cannot get AppleCare for it. However, even with the Asurion 4 year plan I still spent less than I would have had I bought the same model brand new. In fact, it’s like I got the 256 GB memory upgrade for free! ... show more

Good value for the price. Looks new. Sometimes the screen won’t acknowledge touch, and it needs to be reset. Not sure if it’s related to being used, or just an Apple glitch, but it happens only very rarely, like once a month.

I don’t usually write reviews but if you’re thinking of getting this then you absolutely should! Great price for a great iPad. The battery life is great, charges normally and dies at a normal rate. The screen is the same size and big enough to where it can hold as a mini laptop and even a phone. And the sound works perfectly 👍 I use it with some earbuds I got from Amazon and notice no sound quality difference, connects to them just fine. Also works with my apple pen second gen! Little tidbit, I was having connection issues with the Apple Pencil at first, it’d disconnect the moment I took it off the magnetic strip, but I updated the iPad to iOS 18.2 and now it works great. Just wanted to share in case someone was having the same issue :) ... show more
