i was skeptical cause ive used sooo many over the counter treatments for my shepador. i will say this stuff works amazingly!!! with in one treatment i noticed a major difference . his ear is not all nasty and smelly not red and irritating him. the nasty gunk id clean out of his ear is gone and has been for 3 days now so far. this stuff is thick so u do have to massage it in to the ear canal. i reaplied a smaller dose to make sure i didnt miss any the first time since his ear was so bad. he hasnt scratched his ear or shook his head since night of the first treatment. soooooo happy i bought this. pic of my big lug that had the issue ... show more

  • Effective!
Size: 0.75 fl oz(Pack of 1)
I noticed my sweet cat, Baby, had all of this nasty black/brown gunk in her left ear. At first, I didn’t know what it was. She kept scratching at it a lot, shaking her head. There were even times when she would shake her head, and some of it would come out of her ear and land on my bed. Ew. Once I discovered they were mites, I began my search of what to use. I am the type of person who is very wary of what I give my cat. I do tons of research before purchasing and administering anything to her. I noticed how a lot of these ear mite products, caused negative reactions in some people’s pets. That kind of scared me. In the end, I felt if I couldn’t find anything - going to the vet would be the only solution. After debating for days on which product to go for - I chose this one. I chose it based on the reviews, very few being negative. Also used Google and ChatGPT to determine just how safe this stuff is. Overall, if your pet is either very young (kitten/puppy) or old (senior), or has underlying health issues or you even THINK they do - take great caution and giving them any type of medication; whether it be for fleas or mites. Before I gave her the full dose on the first day, I put only a single drop in her ear to see if she had any sort of reaction to it. Nothing. So then I administered two more drops. She took it well and I did that for the first 2-3 days. Afterward, for the remaining 7 days, I administered five drops per day. That is the recommended dose for your pet if they are beneath 15 pounds. I noticed no type of negative reaction from her. No redness, no hair loss. Nothing. This stuff is pretty thick in consistency, but I see that is a good thing because you have better control over the drops. If it was very liquidy, you might end up putting in more than you need to. Easy to use; just hold your pets ear open, and put drops in from above. This has little to no smell, in my opinion. I can’t really describe the smell. Of course, with putting something like this in her ear, a bit of it slow slowly leaked out into the surrounding fur. I would clean it with a piece of paper towel or cotton ball. As the days went by a lot of the black/brown crusty stuff was working upward and out of her ear. The scratching of the ear, head shaking greatly reduced. As of today, it’s been a total of eight days since I gave her the last dose. At first her ear was pretty clean, but now I am noticing the brown/black gunk again… but nowhere near as much as it was before. So I’m not sure if this is just stuff from before that was still down in her ear, working its way out. Or because of the mite lifecycle, with the eggs and all, more hatched after I finished with her doses. I will keep an eye on it. But if I notice that the amount of gunk increases again, I will start another round in about a week. It stated in the instructions to wait two weeks before administering it to your pet again. Overall, I do feel that this stuff works. But if your pet has a heavy infestation going on, it might require more than one round of doses. Like I said, take your pets age and their health into great consideration before giving them anything. Always, the safest thing to do would be to go to the vet. But I know sometimes that isn’t always an option. ... show more

  • Thick and large enough bottle to treat multiple times for 4 pets
Size: 0.75 fl oz(Pack of 1)
Very thick so it stays in ears better than thin counterparts. Seems to cool down irritation and redness as well as hydrate the skin. Less itching and head tilting even after first use. Will repeat in a week or 2 as directed to ensure effectiveness. Enough to treat multiple pets of household so that’s definable a positive with 3 dogs and 1 cat even if just the new dog has 1 bothersome ear- treat them all soites don’t become an issue all around:) ... show more

  • Only worked for about 2 days
Size: 0.75 fl oz(Pack of 1)
It appeared to work. My cat stopped scratching at his ears after a 7 day treatment, but then, 2 days later, he started scratching his ears again. I have started the treatment again, in hopes that there are just some stragglers. If, after this next 7 to 10 day treatment sticks, I will adjust my review, but for now, this product doesn't work. ... show more
