My son found these shoes he really liked at Goodwill. They still have some life in them but they had terrible appearance. After we got them we went to Dollar General, Bashes Grocery Store and Frys Grocery Store for white shoe polish and none of the stores had any.     • Easier to shine shoes with same results!
So much easier with the same shine. No rubbing wax on, brushing with a brush, then finally using a cloth to buff. Takes about 1-2 minutes instead of 10-15 minutes with the same high gloss finish!

I'm not using this on expensive shoes. I used it on big box store, white sneakers that I like to have around for daily use. There was only so much wet hand towel could do and after a few cleanings it started to make the pleather crack. I used this stuff to "paint" my shoes and they seem much cleaner and extended the life on them for me. I wasnt able to do any fine detail work with this applicator. Just brute coverings with wipe off when I made a mistake of coloring logos or rubber soles. You do gottta be quick with wipe offs of mistakes. Another tip, make sure to press straight down FIRMLY, to get the stuff to start flowing into sponge. You should feel a click and then its easy after that. The white is a nice white. There are no instructions, but usage is straight forward. It is difficult to get the polish to flow come out. Physically removing the activating stem is very helpful. After removing that stem, be careful because you will have to control the flow. The on-line description mentions mesh, but the actual box does not. It does not do well on mesh. The color is not opaque enough for me. Seek other solutions if the shoe is mostly mesh. ... show more

The application is junk. It's extremely hard to get any of the cleaner from the bottle. You have to push so hard.Then the sponge applicator falls apart.

The scuff product is perfect. Just polish won’t cover it. My scuff was pretty bad. So glad I bought this combination. Some reviews said hard to apply. I didn’t have a problem.
