We have a Winnebago Micro Minnie and the Dometic awning roller is 15 ft with the awning fabric itself measuring about 14 1/2 ft, so the 15 ft screen, which is exactly 15 ft, is a bit big for this awning. But that doesn’t seem like a big deal. If a 14 ft screen was offered that would have been a better fit. The screen acme with no documentation/instructions other than what was on Amazon. But, instructions really not necessary. Extend the awning and feed the side of the screen with the “rope” through the slot in the awning roller and feed it along. It would be helpful to have a second person, one to feed/guide the input and the other to pull it along taking up the slack. Working alone, once I got it about 1/3 started it was pretty easy to pull it the rest of the way with out guiding the input. The screen itself is well made and the fabric is high quality. The mesh, as stated on the description, is a fairly fine mesh. It seems robust but the wear and tear of feeding the “rope” side through the awning roller groove multiple times will surely have some impact over time. Depending on the last bit of awning extension the 8 ft screen either rests on the ground or about 6 inches off the ground. The stakes and bungee loops are a very straightforward way to position the screen. Having a chainlink fence near the trailer I was able to get a fair amount of pitch to the screen. Even using the stakes in the ground a pitch to the screen can be established. The fine mesh makes for a reasonable shade cloth yet the view through the cloth is fairly clear. Comes packed in a nice carry case. Haven’t had the opportunity to see how it will behave in windy conditions. Could be the bungeed screen stabilizes the awning “sail”? ... show more

Got this at end of season. Haven't used it officially but loaded it on the camper to make sure it worked. Slide on fairly easily down the track. Came with no instructions so I'm gonna have to guess I did it right and google how to hook it up to ground when need be. Has a zipper 1/3 down. Would love instructions and when to use this feature. I have a 26 ft bunk house it's about 1-2 feet shorted than my awning but seems more than adequate for my purposes. Glad to have it for next season. It came with a carring case... good luck ever folding it up correctly to get it to fit in there ever again lol. All in all I like it! ... show more

This shade is super easy to install along any roll out canopy and provides some much-appreciated shade and a bit of privacy to the main length of our trailer. Looks to be quite durable (we will know more after we use it this coming summer).

We spend a lot of time in Florida. The sun can be brutal and although the camper's awning is more than necessary sometimes you need a little more protection on the sides. This shade screen definitely helps keep the sun at bay. It attaches easily and can be secured so it does not flap around in the wind. I highly recommend this product. If your RV has a standard awning whether manual or electric this will work fine. However, if you have a wind sensing automatic retractable awning then I would not recommend this as it will cause damage to both your RV awning and the sun shade. ... show more

Great add on shade. Easy to attach with alligator clips (not included). Comes with two stakes and some bungee/ball tie downs. There are two brackets to mount to your camper body also. We won't use those, don't like holes in our camper. We love the extra shade and it also provides a little privacy.
