Buy a helmet before riding this scooter. It can be fun if used with proper safety gear. Let me tell you this thing doesn't mess around. It's super high quality build has surprised me with how hard you can ride this. I'm 220lbs and it's so comfortable with the dual shocks. It's a game changer. I have 2 bad knees and I'm still able to ride it because of the awesome suspension. Tue frame and quality of their metal will simply blow you away. I have expected this thing to have cracked into pieces by now but it's just as firm and awesome as day 1. My scooter hit 40 mph the first couple weeks but after 15 or so charges it tops out at about 36 to 38 mph with me on it. The brakes are amazing but they do require some footage to stop from 40 mph. Have fun but take the safety serious. This scooter could kill you if you wrecked going 40 mph. This scooter is not for kids and I don't even allow my 15 year old to ride it. This is for adults. They have other scooters than the Eagle One Pro that are made for kids. Overall Varla is a great company with great people. Their products are so well built that it will amaze you. Varla stands by their products and warranties. I was so happy to have went with this scooter. One downside is that everyone will stare at you because it's so cool and looks so tough amd beefy. You could literally run other scooters over. Lol ... show more

    • DON’T BUY A VARLA!!!!

Edit: They came through and gave me a refund. I’m very appreciative to receive a full refund after the struggle with the BBB. Varla has been kind in my dealings after everything after months of back and forth in trying to get a refund. I have filed over 40 complaints to varla trying to get my scooter working properly since I bought it in sep 2023. There was a problem with the battery and controller which I alerted them immediately about. They then told me it was normal and I began having brake problems after a few months. They sent me the wrong brakes and didn’t offer to replace them and told me I need to shave them with a metal file so they fit. Then came a flat tire. They didn’t have a new tire for three months which cost me a lot of money in commuting since this was my primary method of travel. They refused to tell me another tire brand until I asked multiple times. Then the issue with the controller and battery came up again! They sent me a new controller, brakes finally and I bought a new tire. They don’t have tutorials on how to replace the parts and they have sent me some of the wrong parts! I am not a technician. I didn’t want to be! No one in my town of Portland will touch it for liability purposes. That means not bike shop, no motorcycle shop, no car shop or anywhere else will help me! I can’t get the tire of to replace myself. It has been a nightmare! I’ve asked for 3 months for a return and refund and have not been granted it yet. I’ve gotten the Better Business Bureau involved and it is still not resolved. I currently work in customer service and if we handled our shop like this we would be out of business! Customer service has been kind in their responses but they haven’t given me the help I wanted which is to be done with this nightmare once and for all by getting a refund! ... show more
