    • Orange pad is hard to "POP" back into place!

With all the complaints about the orange pad, that was the first thing I checked out. I think people have been placing it back in position, but not actually using enough force to "POP" it back into place. I thought I was going to break something before it finally "POPPED" back in. .

We use these at our church weekly to hold small wood sections together to create a safety border where we store items when not being used. They come off on Sunday morning, and go back on Sunday afternoon. Most of this packet has held up to this abuse, but a few have had the 'pads' that contact the wood have popped off. I'm a hobbiest and work on small projects all the time. I needed some small easy to use clamps. These work fairly well. Not the strongest grip but good enough for most things. The only problem I had is if you use them to grip something that is wider, the little rubber 'teeth' on the end of the clamp tend to fall off. Most of the time I can just pop them back on. Only on one so far, the plastic part that the 'teeth' piece attaches to broke. They can still be used without the rubber teeth though. ... show more

These clamps have a strong spring and hold well. However, they don't seem to weather that well. After a season or 2 outdoors, some of them become brittle and crack and break.
