I bought these to convert a hall closet with no shelves into a linen closet. The shelves were super easy to install, although I did accidentally pinch myself putting the two pieces back together (be careful it was really painful). They come with sticky wall anchors to help keep them in place. I did not use these since I'm in a rental and was worried about the adhesive peeling the paint off the wall. The hangers are a great idea but I had to glue one end of the hangers as they pop out of the hole they are seated in. I just had one completely fail. The hook just stretched out. I will use them after gluing them but not for anything heavy. Summer tops, tee shirts etc. not strong enough for jeans. You have to be realistic about the weight that you put on them but for normal closet items like sweaters, tissue boxes, etc. they hold up well.
