Once you fit it in, some back and forth if it’s just you, the shelf is perfect! I wish it were an inch or two wider, but that’s just a personal opinion. Very sturdy and supportive. Will be ordering another.

I bought these to convert a hall closet with no shelves into a linen closet. The shelves were super easy to install, although I did accidentally pinch myself putting the two pieces back together (be careful it was really painful). They come with sticky wall anchors to help keep them in place. I did not use these since I'm in a rental and was worried about the adhesive peeling the paint off the wall. These shelves work great without them, we keep towels and bathroom cleaning supplies on these. Tighten as much as you can and these shelves will not budge. ... show more

The hangers are a great idea but I had to glue one end of the hangers as they pop out of the hole they are seated in. I just had one completely fail. The hook just stretched out. I will use them after gluing them but not for anything heavy. Summer tops, tee shirts etc. not strong enough for jeans. I have bought and installed several of these telescoping shelving units from five feet to 24 inches. They do the job easily and hold tight. You have to be realistic about the weight that you put on them but for normal closet items like sweaters, tissue boxes, etc. they hold up well.
