  • Great deal
Style: Portable Project Center
This is a great workbench. Folds away great and is very easy to store. Set up is easy and serves all purposes for my jobs.

  • Nice tiny work bench
Style: Portable Project Center
Does what I need it to do, holds work pieces securely and takes up little space when folded away. The one I have isn't level but a single small block of wood under one of the feet made it sturdy. The two board pieces can meet if you flip the board farthest from handles around - it will still securely sit in the bench and still be usable as a vice. The instructions are not the best, there was one diagram that was misleading - find a video of someone assembling it if you get confused. But assembly doesn't take very long and you only need to do it once. ... show more

  • It’s fine, but could be better
Style: Portable Project Center
Arrived in good shape with all the parts. I knew the directions were not the best. They are lacking, but took the challenge on (without going to YouTube for videos) and was successful. The pin install for the two cranks stinks and the overall workmanship of the parts and components to the bench are just ok. Everything seems to work. Hope it is durable. ... show more

  • Husband likes it!
Style: Portable Project Center
Bought this for my husband for Father’s Day and he really likes to use it. Product was easy to assemble and stores easily. He is able to work on projects in our apartment and not ruin my dining table anymore. The clamps are a definite plus so things don’t slip away.Perfect fit for a New York apartment. It is strong and stable and versatile. ... show more

  • What's with the complaints? This thing is great
Style: Portable Project Center
I hesitated before buying the WM225 because several reviewers complained it was hard to put together, poorly made (somebody wrote that it had sharp edging requiring that you wear safety gloves for protection!), or generally low quality. Nonsense. Assembly is a breeze, no harder than a LEGO set. True, the instructions are in the form of diagrams, not text, but there's nothing confusing or odd about them. There are no rough or sharp edges, and I'm completely satisfied with the quality for the price. The table is useful, strong enough for all my odd jobs, and perfectly sturdy. The sole tricky part is getting the pins into the crank handles (to hold them onto the long screws that work the vice); know this from other reviews, I grabbed two 2" cotter pins and used them to affix the handles instead. Fine, that means the product cost me an extra ten cents. Finally, there was some moaning about putting parts in backwards and needing stickers or something to tell you how to do it right the first time: if you can follow the simple directions correctly you will be perfectly fine. Again, no harder than a Lego set. Take the plunge, you'll find this a very handy and sturdy mini work bench. ... show more

  • Shouldn't have to assemble this product
Style: Portable Project Center
Once assembled, it seems like a nice tool. However, as others have said, the instructions are terrible, all done solely with pictorials (the only English in the instructions is the word "Click".), and not without mistakes. Step #20 shows the installer putting the bolt in the wrong hole. People (including me) have had a hard time installing the compression pin into the crank handle. Per the attached photos, I found a couple of things that help. (1) I held the crank bolts reasonably steady using a clamp on each bolt. (2) I used a machinist vice to compress the pin on the beveled end, making sure that the slot of the pin was at 90 degrees to the jaws of the vice. Then put the handle on the crank bolt and tap the pin in starting with the newly compressed end. Finish with a 5/32" punch. The rest of the instructions are somewhat confusing but will sort themselves out. Overall, I like the finished product, but there is too much dependence on plastic parts and there should be no assembly required - it wouldn't take up any more room. ... show more
