These clamps are terrific. They're well built and function well. Easy to set up and the "hex wrench" feature on the grip helps to crank down the last turn when tightening on your strips. Good design...Great function!!

I love the Bessey family of clamps. They simply work! These clamps not only clamp like a champ but they also easily transform into spreaders. I used them recently to break apart a glued and nailed draw I created which didn't fit. Just take one end off and turn it around and put it inside the draw and then apply pressure and the draw came apart in tact. I used all 5 pcs to rebuild the draw. I have all Bessey clamps and they are the ONLY ones I will EVER buy! ... show more

    • When accuracy/ease matters, get the best
There are half a dozen brands of parallel clamps and some are a bit cheaper than Bessey. I opted for these because I need reliability and sturdiness and all my other Bessey clamps have been top notch.

This is an expensive clamp but well worth the money. After stumbling for years with Pony clamps with their wobble on the table because of an undersized base, I gradually replaced them with the standard Besey pipe clamp whic is far superior and smarter. It had a good metal base and rubber protectors on each end. My son then gave me a pair of these K Body for Christmas. I hung them in the shop for quite a while before I remembered I had them. Once I used them a few times I ordered another pair and use them along with my bar clamps. As I say, they're pricey - $85-$100 a pair vs. 3/4" bar clamps that will only set you back less than half that. My advice is, if you have the dough, buy a pair. ... show more
