  • It's Festool - costs a lot, but it's excellent
Hemmed & hawed a lot over this - do I really want to sink so much money in to a clamp. Happy I did it - this thing REALLY applies clamping force. It's like anything else Festool makes - it's extremely good, and extremely expensive. You can always find something 80% as good for 40% less, but I don't regret buying this. You clamp something with this thing, and it ain't moving. ... show more

  • Typical Festool quality and functionality
Bought a pair of these for my Festool track saw and they are a perfect addition. Easy to operate and hold strong. I have yet to be disappointed in anything purchased from Festool . More expensive, yes but consider the cost if their products were made here in the US with the same quality. I don’t mind paying for quality. I don’t find it in products from China. ... show more

  • Fess is the best
If you have the Fess table it works great, easy and quickly. However, they are very expensive.

  • Easy smooth operation
I was using screw type clamps previously and my old hands hurt so bad at the end of the day I could barely operate them. These clamp effortlessly and I can work faster and longer with these

  • Works great on my inexpensive Harbor Freight workbench
I wanted to see if this thing would fit into my harbor freight workbench that came with bench dog holes on the surface, a $119 descent cheap bench that also has 4 drawers and is the perfect height for an outfeed table also. These clamps work great! Sure, its not a $685 MFT3 table with all the bells and whistles but I already have a sawstop and I don't need a mobile table. I simply wanted a few nice clamps that might possibly work on my existing inexpensive but amazingly useful bench...and these work amazingly well. Very well made. I was actually very surprised when I opened the package...I was expecting a very overpriced clunky plastic handled clamp. But my mouth actually opened and said, "Ohh...wow...these are nice" when I opened the box. Very pleased. ... show more

  • Quick, firm clamping
I was wondering if these clamps would really hold wood to a table and I was surprised at how strong they grip the material you are clamping. Waiting on shipment of my MFT table, but they work on the edge of a regular old work bench right out of the box.

  • Good clamps, just fiddly and hard to insert/remove
The Good - The clamps hold pieces firmly. - They are versatile in that they can be swung to any angle easily, and can be used in dog holes, in the track saw track, or to clamp two or more boards together directly. The Bad - It's not so easy to insert/remove them from the dog holes and require lots of unobstructed space to maneuver them into/out from the dog holes. If Festool would make the bend a little thinner, it would e much easier to insert/remove them, and do so from a steeper angler, requiring less space to maneuver them. - They are expensive, hence the medium value for money rating. Bottom Line They're clumsy to move around but wonderful to work with. Unlike most Festool products, it isn't so obvious that they are worth the premium over other brands that make similar clamps. ... show more
