Screwed in a good light bulb, and it did not work. Put the light bulb back into original base and it worked. Buy something else.

This plug adapter seems to work fine, so WHY IS THIS PLUG ADAPTER DANGEROUS? It has an open ground not connected to anything. (a very unsafe design) WHY IS AN OPEN GROUND DANGEROUS? Think of the “Safety Air Bag” which is in your car. It does nothing until an accident occurs, then it is very important for your safety. Yes, very important that it opens quickly. The same is true with a ground connection in an electrical circuit. It does nothing until an accident occurs, and then the ground connection is important for your safety. (this fact is misunderstood by most people, so they think the device is safe because it works fine during NORMAL use!) What would happen if your car safety air bag was never connected. When an accident occurred, you would be seriously injured and very upset as to why the air bag was not connected. What would happen if the ground in your electrical circuit was never connected? When an accident occurred, you would possibly be injured, and very upset as to why the ground was never connected and left open. You could possibly get an electrical shock, fall off a ladder, etc., or even death by electrocution. But again, the ground is only important when an electrical malfunction, problem or accident occurs. That's why many people think that this adapter works fine since no electrical malfunction has occurred. But when that electrical problem or malfunction does occur, that's when you will need a good reliable ground connection. This plug adapter once again, has an OPEN GROUND connection, which is VERY DANGEROUS. PLEASE STOP SELLING THIS DANGEROUS PLUG ADAPTOR And notify your supplier to the same dangers! The manufacturer needs to stop making and selling this DANGEROUS ADAPTOR. YOUR HELP IS NEEDED TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF YOUR CUSTOMERS! ... show more
