TRAINING WITHOUT STRESS: Great training tool, is working on my very stubborn dogs. I like that there are 100 stimulation levels, so that I have the ability to train my dogs without causing them distress. I set it at the lowest level necessary to get their attention. THIS IS NOT A “SHOCK COLLAR” (when used properly): People who say that stimulation collars are inhumane probably don’t realize that these modern stimulation collars are nothing like yesterday’s shock collar. I held it in my hand while applying stimulation, so that I could see what it felt like. It does not hurt, but it does get your attention. GIVES TONE OR VIBRATION OPTIONS: You can set it to give tone or vibration prior to giving stimulation, so dogs quickly associate the vibration with the need to pay attention. Half the time I don’t even have to use stimulation. WORKED ON MY 2 YEAR OLD RESCUES WITH NO PRIOR TRAINING: I have only been using it for 7 days, and I see more improvement in just 7 days than I have in their entire life. They actually seem calmer because they have clear consistent training. No anxiety from wondering what is expected of them and trying to figure out boundaries and rules. START LOW, GO SLOW: Just start your dog at a low setting, I started at three and worked my way up. I found a level 17 to be perfect for one dog, and a level 25 to be perfect for the other dog. MUST BE SNUG: Just make sure that the collar is snug enough to produce the same amount of stimulation every time. If it is too loose, the level will feel much different depending on the dogs position. USE WITH POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT: I recommend using it in conjunction with positive reinforcement. Every time they respond appropriately, they get a treat. This product has done wonders for my dogs. FOR THOSE ON THE FENCE: For those on the fence that are concerned about stress caused by stimulation, consider how stressful it is for a dog when they get yelled at or punished - and can’t figure out what they did wrong. READ THE MANUAL. THEN READ IT AGAIN: This is a pretty high-tech item, and definitely requires a full understanding of how to use it. I read the entire instruction manual several times before I put it on the dogs. It’s a little bit complicated at first, but reading the instruction manual and watching YouTube videos really helps. Give yourself a few days to practice before you actually put it on the dog. CHEAPER THAN THE ALTERNATIVE: And yes, $300 feels like a lot of money to spend on stimulation collars. However, after using them I realized that they saved me so much money. I had already done a consultation with a professional dog trainer, and was about to spend $1800 to get both my dogs professionally trained - that was the lowest quote I could find. With these stimulation collars, I do not need a professional trainer because I am able to do it myself successfully. And we are talking about two dogs that were pretty much feral when I got them. Now that I don’t need a professional dog trainer, I essentially saved $1500....and my sanity. I hope this review was helpful in answering some of your questions! ♥️

A recommended purchase by our professional dog trainer neighbor. I grew tired of having our walk time become drag-me time. This doesn’t shock, it stimulates as if you’ve bumped your elbow except with an intensity dial. I had trouble disciphering the manual so I learned by being shown by a pro who has lots of experience with these collars. Now, my 8 yr old 70 lb dog walks everyday off leash. It’s wonderful. Best money we ever spent. Easy to use. Rechargeable. Shoulda done it sooner. Not immersible. Water resistant.

Product arrived quick and the device was so effective that when the recorder plastic broke a few months after having it(was covered and replaced by manufacturer) my dog was already fully trained and I didn’t need it anymore! I never once hurt my dog in anyway and that’s not what the device is meant for. The ‘shock’ should do nothing more than get the dogs attention and should be associated negatively with a phrase such as ‘no or bad’. Then you use the hand clicker it comes with and associate it with something good, like a treat. So when the dog does something good, you use the clicker and then give them a treat. After a short while, you don’t even need a treat. The clicker is enough for the dog to follow commands. If there is a behavior you are trying to correct, you use the remote to send the light shock to get the dogs attention and tell them ‘no or bad’ and do not reward them with a treat. Then you redirect the dogs attention to the good behavior that replaces the bad. For instance if your dog has an issue with running off, you would in a controlled environment have her run off and then hit button on your remote and tell the dog no, then use the hand clicker and the command you are using to correct the behavior such was stay or come and when the dog stays by your side or comes back to you. You give them a treat. Back to the remote. Super easy to use. You only have to charge it maybe once a month depending how much you use it. I charged it weekly, just so I didn’t have to worry about it. The range is incredible. There are plenty of levels to the power of the shock and the instruction book clearly tells you how how for your type of dog and for what type of behavior. (For instance If there is an emergency situation and you need to stop your dog, you can use a higher setting for a jolt that should stop the dog without injuring them. They also have two power setting depending how you got the Button, so you don’t have to worry about messing with increasing it when you really need it. It’s compact, so I could easily hook it to my pants when going for a walk or run. Lastly, the seller PetTek is fantastic. They responded to my issue almost immediately even past 11pm Eastern and they got me to the people to fix my problem in no time. 10/10 recommend buying any product from them.

You can tell that engineering and thought has went into this product. I use this with my hunting dog and it is very effective. Had a couple of issues after many uses and long period of time. There customer service is top notch and the issues were quickly resolved. I will buy there product again.

Initial impressions are it works great. It offers correction immediately when the buttons are pushed, and the corrections are effective. We have the shock setting at 23. But we mostly use the buzz feature, which works most of the time on our Lab. It's only when he's running full tilt after something that we have had to use the shock and it works. He immediately heads back to us. This is especially important when a dog is running towards a street, or at a wild animal that could cause him harm. We've had less expensive training collars and they worked intermittently, which is very bad. Consistency is critical when using training collars and it's frustrating to have a delayed correction. You certainly do not want to correct a positive behavior like running back to you. We bought this one based on the recommendations of friends who have used them long term, so I expect we will have the same success. I would recommend this unit.
