I’ve used a lot of hair tools at this point, and the Airwrap is one of those products that made me understand why people are willing to pay Dyson prices. Traditional hot tools absolutely work, but repeated high heat can leave hair feeling dry, rough, and generally abused over time. The Airwrap i.d. feels like Dyson taking that original idea and making it more personalized and repeatable. The airflow styling works great here. Instead of clamping hair between hot plates or wrapping it around a scorching barrel, it uses the Coanda effect to pull and shape the hair with air. That makes it feel a lot gentler than a traditional curling wand or flat iron, while still giving you real styling ability. You can dry, curl, wave, smooth, and shape with one tool, which makes the whole setup feel more useful than just a fancy dryer. The app-connected styling is actually pretty neat too. You answer a few questions in the MyDyson app about your hair type and length, and it helps tailor the wrap, style, and cold shot sequence. I don’t think everyone needs an app to style their hair, but if you struggle to get consistent curls or waves, I can see the appeal. The biggest advantage is that it really does style your hair with less heat than traditional curling irons or straighteners. My hair feels healthier, and I don't get nearly as much dryness or damage as I used to. The blowout attachment is probably my favorite part. It gives that smooth, salon-style look that I never mastered because I just don't have the coordination to use a round brush and hair dryer effectively. That said, it's definitely not a magic wand. There's a learning curve, especially with the curling barrels. It took me several tries before I got results I liked, and even now the curls don't always last all day unless I use styling products. If you have fine hair or live somewhere humid, you may find the curls fall faster than you'd expect. The price is honestly hard to justify. For what it costs, I expected perfection. Instead, it's more like a really good styling tool that works amazingly for some people and just okay for others. I've also seen enough reports of reliability issues that I'd recommend keeping an eye on the warranty. I do use it multiple times a week, and it's replaced several other tools. If you're someone who regularly blow dries and styles your hair, you'll probably love it. This Airwrap is incredible! I was using a different similar hair curler, made by another company. I had previously purchased that one because it was significantly cheaper but was not completely happy with it because it was bulky, cumbersome to use, and very loud. I had to wear earplugs whenever I used it. Now this Dyson Airwrap is an absolute dream to use. It is fairly lightweight, not loud at all, super easy to use, and my hair felt so soft and less damaged after using. It comes with 6 different attachments and they all have a different purpose. The ones that I use the most are the anti-snag brush and the long barrel. I also really like the large volumizing brush for a nice blow out look. So easy and my hair glides so smoothly between the brush bristles. No tangling or hair, or unnecessary pulling. The anti-snag brush is useful for me since my hair is naturally wavy and a bit poofy so this helps to straighten my hair and make it look sleek and smooth. Also super easy to use and my hair feels amazingly soft afterwards. My favorite attachment, of course, is the long barrel. The conical barrel is for tighter curls, but I prefer bigger and looser curls. Also since my hair is a bit thick, the longer barrel works better for me and is quicker. The thing I love the most about this attachment is that you can twist the top to switch air flow direction! So easy, and it grabs the hair so easily! And is fairly quiet. Compared to my previous curler, this airwrap is so much more quiet and the sound does not bother me at all. It creates beautiful curls that surprisingly last all day. The chitosan serum is super nice, makes my hair incredibly soft and I think it makes the curls last longer. It smells amazing and does not weigh down my hair at all. I only need a small amount and the dispenser is really convenient. I use this hair serum after every time I dry or style my hair. I think this Dyson airwrap is an amazing, luxurious device and although it's a bit expensive, it seems worth the price to me. It can replace at least 3 different hair styling devices: curler, straightener, dryer. You may be tempted to buy a cheaper alternative, but I have tried them and honestly, they are cheaper for a reason. The quality is just not there and I ALWAYS end up going back to Dyson.

I absolutely love this hair styler and after serum! This combination has revolutionized my hair routine. I have an older style Airwrap and use it regularly for curls in my hair. Once I discovered the Airwrap i.d. feature, my routine became so easy. The technique I would use with my original Airwrap version, this i.d. feature does it all for me. This hair tool connects to my phone through bluetooth and the Dyson app. I was able to create a custom hair setting in the app and the i.d. feature uses this data to create a styling routine for my hair. The i.d. feature only works with the curl barrel. I have used the thin and large sized barrel with great success. My typical routine with the Airwrap looks like this, shampoo, towel dry my hair, no product and then straight to the Airwrap to dry and style all in one. It takes me around 15 minutes to dry and curl my hair. I use one of the brushes to dry my hair to damp. Then section my hair and use the barrel curl feature to dry and style. The i.d. option really wows me. It does everything I would do on my own and does it all for me. I am so impressed. This Airwrap also works great with the standard tools as well. There are so many that come with this styler, brush, large volumizing brush, dryer and flyaway smoother and fast dryer. The styler itself is stunning too. It is a beautiful pale pink with rose gold accents. Included is a black case that everything fits inside. This hair styler is not just a beautiful looking machine but it is also a phenomenal hair styler. For me to go from wet to curls in 15 minutes is remarkable. Not only is it quick and efficient, my hair style lasts for a solid two days plus. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better I tried the Chitosan Post-Style Serum. It was the perfect finishing touch. It helps tame flyaways, adds a healthy-looking shine, and keeps my style looking polished without feeling greasy or heavy. A small amount goes a long way, and my hair remains soft while maintaining its shape. I also appreciate the premium design and quality of both products. The Airwrap feels well-built and powerful, while the serum complements the styling results perfectly. I have wanted a Dyson Airwrap since they first came out, so I was excited to finally get the chance to try one for myself. Anything that can save me time while helping my hair look polished without causing extra damage immediately gets my attention, and this has fit that description surprisingly well. My hair is naturally wavy with a tendency toward frizz, and I am definitely not someone who enjoys spending an hour styling it every morning. What impressed me most is how many different styling tasks this one tool can handle. Instead of switching between a blow dryer, curling iron, round brush, and smoothing tool, I can do everything with the Airwrap. That alone has simplified my routine quite a bit. The drying performance is also impressive. It takes my hair from soaking wet to mostly dry very quickly, and then I can move right into styling.
