Dyson Airstrait hair straightener and Dyson Omega hydrating oil are the ultimate smoothing duo for sleek, shiny hair. A concentrated, yet lightweight hair oil that nourishes, smooths frizz, and provides heat protection up to 450°F. Straighten and dry hair – at the same time. Three pre-set temperatures -- 175°F, 230°F, and 285°F – take your hair from wet to finished style, with one machine. Touch-up or refresh your style from dry. Style at 250°F or 285°F or use the optional Boost mode for maximum styling impact. Pin and roll for lift and volume with a ‘90s-inspired ‘Rachel’ look. A polished, everyday look, straightened from wet. Smooth and stretch hair to create a naturally straight blow out. Dyson Airstrait uses high-pressure airflow to straighten hair as it dries. Air is precisely heated and projected evenly through the tress as you style – with no need for extreme heat.¹ Airflow is projected downwards at a 45° angle to create the tension needed to align hair for a smooth end style – with less damage and breakage.² Glass bead thermistors, located in the machine arms, regulate airflow temperature up to 30 times per second, to prevent heat damage and protect hair’s natural shine. A 13-blade impeller spins up to 106,000rpm, propelling 11.9 liters of air through the machine per second. This generates 3.6kPa of air pressure, powerful enough to straighten hair as it dries. High-definition color display shows airflow and temperature settings for easy reference when styling. Slide the button to lock and unlock the arms of your machine. Use with the arms locked to gently pre-dry hair and create volume from the roots. After three seconds of inactivity, your machine will automatically pause. Simply move the machine to restart the airflow. Your machine senses when hair is between the arms and automatically drops to low airflow when it's not – for quieter, more efficient styling.
