Dont think its worth the price
I bought this product out of curiousity because of how well reviewed it was and the interesting design. I was blown away that something that blows air at you could be 300 dollars, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Typically, expensive products like these are well designed inside and out and you can feel the durability from something as simple as the material its made with. Which brings me to #1, it is simply made of plastic, nothing special. The whole thing is made by a fan down below blowing air into the ring and redirected outward. So then the question is, what makes this so expensive? Extra features? Not really, because other fans have a remote, ability to rotate on timer, and variable power settings. Okay is it quietness? Not really, it gets decently loud above a 4 setting (out of 10). Engineering? Remote works about 60% of button clicks. Power button on main unit works 20% of time. Marketing? Definitely. Im not a fan of this because it's simply too much to pay for something so simple. Other fans have even more features, such as vertical rotation as well as horizontal and you are paying less than a quarter the price. Save your money and try something different unless you really care about design.

Decent Fan with a Mandatory Night-Light Built In
If this were a regular $10 fan, with the same size, you would not be impressed with the air output. It does a good job as a novelty. Cost is an issue and the fact that the fan loses 50% of its functionality if you lose the tiny remote is an issue, as described by others. The thing that really amazes me is the light on the front. It is supposed to tell you what the fan setting is (1-10), but it is as bright as a plug-in night light. I am not joking - it is bright enough to light up my entire bedroom. I taped a paper note card (not just a sheet of paper) over the light, and you can still read the numbers through it, and it still lights up my room at night. Wow.

Cool (literally) fan!
I bought this fan a week ago for my bedroom during the So Cal heatwave. My bedroom window is about 4’x8’ and faces west with no shade. Even with two layers of drape it was so hot and never cooled off. I have another blade less fan and wanted a second because they are so easy to clean. This fan is a bit magical and really cools the room in the warm afternoon and if I aim it toward my living room (about a 20’ throw), I can feel the cool AM air flow. Plus I have to sleep with white noise and the fan almost sounds like a light rainfall! I gave the how it’s made three stars as it doesn’t seem well made? It seems a bit flimsy and lightweight if that’s the right word? So far it works well, but we shall see!

Great but try to find a sale
Quality fan, The steady non choppy airflow is fantastic like a real breeze in the house. This fan may not be good if you have extremely sensitive professional level hearing as the motor and swivel sounds in the dead of night can sometimes sound similar to the swarm of scarab beetles from the mummy movies especially above level 4. This is negligable most of the time but I have to turn it off some nights because of the sound. It is a great form and design for functionality so will have to see how the performance continues.

Incredible air flow. Will cool you off and looks cool doing it.
I don't write a lot of reviews unless a purchase is really good or really not good. This one is really good! Have been eyeballing this for years and finally pulled the trigger on it. It's a little on the high side at $200 US. You could buy 10 box fans for what just 1 of these cost but that wouldn't be nearly as awesome. I got this to accent my new setup: fresh built gaming pc with 1080ti, 8086x, 16GB 3200, z370 mobo with 1TB M.2 Samsung960Pro(fully boots windows in about 12seconds), full RGB, liquid cooling blah blah blah, Arozzi gaming desk, 34inch untrawide 21:9 144hz, lil 710 rig running the mininail, Klipsch R115SW used as a table for the Dyson fan. It sits right next to my fabulous desk so I can point it right at my dome and chill. Very good for keeping me cool while gaming with the headset on. Anywho, it really is a continuous stream of air. On the highest setting, it is a little noisy. But it's the sound of moving air and not the fan so no marks off! The oscillate option is whisper quiet, too.

Super Cool!
I can't stand any noise while trying to get to sleep. This fan is pricey, but I keep it on a low setting on my night stand and it's super quiet and I stay super cool!
