I don't think I have ever written a review on Amazon, but I came across this camera under My Orders while looking for a product to return, and then I saw I bought it in early 2023 and HOLY MOLY this camera is awesome! I have 5-year-old twins and both of them have their Dylanto camera and both have taken a beating and they still work awesome! Literally have never had any issue. And the photos are good quality! Esp given the price. Now that they're old, one of them plays video games on it, which tbh I didn't even know it came with. Not into kids playing video games but honestly it's the equivalent of the game Snakes on our flip phones back in the day--super pixelated, kinda slow, but still fun and satisfies that dopamine hit without the flooding their receptors. One of them accidentally deleted all her pics and honestly, I was kinda destroyed. I hadn't downloaded any of them, but she had photos from when she was 3 and it just made me sad. I regret not having printed all if not some / the best ones. I should really do that with her sister's camera, because I just love the idea of seeing life through their eyes literally through a lens and how their perception of the world through the camera has evolved over time. The only annoying thing is they somehow always trigger the timer, so then they'd just be walking around taking photos but having to stand still for 10secs and idkw but it always made me laugh and be annoyed at the same time. It's like they added some drama/flare but a photo taking so long to take but unbeknownst o them, at that point they knew nothing so I think they thought cameras usually had a 3-10sec delay, lol. Anyhoo, but the camera. It was $24 back when I bought it, and worth every single penny. Great gift for a toddler. This camera is so cute, and the perfect size for little hands! I got this for my son who is 4 years old, and it is perfect for him! Upon arrival, my kids took the camera and figured it out in seconds. They had/have so much fun taking pictures, video, and playing games! It is durable too. I’ve heard it hit the ground a couple times now. The initial battery life didn’t last long, but we charged it up and it has been lasting longer. The SD card is one of the small ones, so you will need to have a larger SD card or other option to be able to upload the pictures to a computer. I would recommend this camera for kids! ... show more

The camera was a little smaller than expected, but it is for children. The 6 year old I got it for loves it, though. She takes pictures of everything. It comes with a little micro USB stick, for you to put the photos on your computer if you wish. We bought an extra micro SD so, she would have more room to take photos, but the camera itself holds a certain amount of photos, before filling its SD. The user ability is easy, once you understand, but she is still figuring it out and needs us to help switch between, video, photos, view, or games. The quality is a little better than I expected for a child camera, but at the end of the day, remember, it's still a toy. It reminds me of a child version of the cheap $50 to $100 digital cameras you could buy at Walmart. Depending on the age of the person you are buying for, you could go with one of those instead.
