the unit has a nice look but was hard to assemble, many of the pre-drilled holes did no a line or were completely in the wrong place all together, the diagram booklet that came with it had pictures but no explanation of any kind, which with this item would have been helpful, luckily i have some back ground it construction so was able to figure most of it out, i would not recommen this item to any one. ... show more

I ordered the rustic finish. It has a strong smell that is ok. It took 4 hours to assemble. The piece is much more expensive looking.

I was able to figure assembly out, but it would have been easier with better instructions. It is sturdy and it looks great. It holds a good bit of items. I am using it as a pantry.

I would start out by saying that I like "flatpack" furniture. It is not a cost consideration in all cases - I just have no issue with these pieces as I take my time to assemble them well, glue/clamp the joints and square them up. As a result, what's important to me when I build something is that the hardware is good, nothing is missing and all the panels are undamaged. In this case everything was great. These are (of course) particle board panels which have a laminated finish but they are so much heavier than I expected. I have no idea what that will mean long term but so far it is sturdy and square. It was easy to square up the cabinet doors (the gap was nearly perfect already from the predrilled holes) and everything went together well. The instructions were alright, I've seen better and worse but the panels were all labeled so it wasn't an issue for me. ... show more

this is just absolutely gorgeous! its such a nice cabinet!! the one bad thing about this is the instructions! what a joke! they were not clear what so ever and it was extremely challenging to put it all together but we figured it out and once you do oh man!! its such a beautiful cabinet and it looks fantastic and the color is so pretty! it can hold a lot of your belongings as well. you could use this for any room, for any purpose. im debating if i want to use it for my kitchen or for my kids arts and crafts! ... show more
