DWVO Farmhouse 7 drawer dresser for bedroom large modern dresser tv stand with large drawers & Bar handles, storage with power outlets in Dark Rustic Oak. The box that arrives is large and very heavy so get someone to help you lift it!! There’s lots of padding inside, which I was pleased with. The MDF is thick and heavy and farrr better quality than your average Walmart dresser or bookshelf. The color is more of a dark chocolate brown in person than the pretty ashy grey/brown oak pictured online, fyi. The instructions are basically all just black and white pictures and the diagrams are tiny in scale and confusing. For instance, the very first step is to screw the tracks on to the side boards. You follow the tiny screw holes in the boards. One illustration shows to use the 1st(from the left) hole in the metal track, but this alignment leaves a gap from the edge which is confusing because the OTHER illustration shows the tracks being flush with the edge of the board?!? Which is it??!? In the end I figure out there IS supposed to be a gap so follow the 1st hole guidelines and wood pinholes and ignore the other picture. Also, if you’re wondering, the metal tracks come wrapped in little bundles with no additional guidance. The right and left pieces are stamped with CR and CL. This would’ve been useful to add to the instructions! The other edged pieces are for the bottoms of the drawers and are to be placed with the little wheels at the back ends of the boxes. If they are at the fronts they won’t roll! It wasn’t the easiest to put together and takes a lot of dedication, focus, and close inspection of the instructions(noticing exactly where each hole correlates to what and so on). This took me several hours and 2 nights to complete solo. I probably could’ve done it in one but I received an extra #20 drawer slat instead of #21. Hello, quality control?!? I was frustrated but instead of contacting costumer service and waiting a week for the part to show up, I grabbed some tools and chiseled a slot in the board myself to make it work. It’s a little rough around the edges(pictured) but you can’t even tell from the outside! Also, the top 3 drawers ‘appear’ to be identical, but each is slightly different and will only fit in the right slot. I felt like I was playing musical chairs fitting each drawer in its correct spot lol. Of course the instructions provided no help. I did appreciate that they included extra screws and plugs in case you loose one. I will note that one of the faux wood plugs came split in half but luckily I didn’t need to use it. Overall, I think this is a really nice dresser for the cost(under 200!!) and a good value but the directions could’ve been wayyyy better. ... show more

The box came beat up. There is minimal protection for shipping. BE SURE TO CHECK ALL PIECES BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO ASSEMBLE. One of the drawer guide slots was sheared off and I was able to fix it with wood glue. Corners of the top piece were slightly damaged. Other pieces were chipped on corners. I am handy enough to cover these blemishes with a furniture marker, but as others have shown some pieces can show up irreversibly damaged. Luckily mine wasn't too bad. Instructions were somewhat difficult to follow. You MUST have 2 people to hold pieces as you assemble because if not the boards will break from pressure of weight on the screws. Assembly took about 3.5 hours. Overall it seems a bit flimsy, but good for light use in a guest room. I wouldn't have bought this as a daily driver. This drawer set is a gamble, so be prepared for potentially damaged pieces and you may have to contact the seller for replacement parts. Luckily I didn't have to. I wouldn't buy it again and would probably spend a bit more for something pre-built from a furniture store. ... show more

I wasn’t expecting great quality, but every piece was shipped and I usually would just bite the bullet when this happens, but they didn't even bother to send half of the pieces to assemble this product.     • Little concerned about longer-term viability

As others have mentioned, this assembly takes a bit. 2+ hours in my case. But I used wood glue on the dowels and the butt joints on all the drawers, which added to the assembly time. None of it was difficult but it was tedious, and if you don’t pay attention it would be easy to go wrong. And it’s compressed wood, so go easy. At one point, I gave a panel with 4 wood dowels a smack to get everything seated and one of the wood dowels blew through the finished end of one of the side panels. Luckily that damage will be hidden in a corner of the room it will be in. Everything was packaged very in well, so no damage from shipping. All the parts were labeled and no parts were missing. In fact, it came with plenty of spares. It doesn’t come with any tools but all that I needed was a Phillips screwdriver to assemble it. The fully assembled dresser is 59” long, 15 3/4” deep, and 31” tall. The drawers don’t go all the way to the back of the dresser. There’s about a 3” gap between the drawer back and dresser back panel. A couple of things have me a little worried about the longer-term viability of this dresser. Either the wood is not dense enough or the pre-drilled holes for the smaller woods screws are too big (or both), but the wood screws for the drawer rails can’t really be tightened down fully. Normally, when screwing into wood, screws get to a point where they are tight and to go any further will strip the hole or screw threads. You never get to that point where they feel tight. Instead, you end up just barely snugging them and cross your fingers. Also, and possibly related to above, all the posts/screws for the cam locks are threaded into a plastic sleeves embedded in the wood. Not sure how strong that is going to end up being. ... show more

Obviously I expect it to not be high quality but the drawer faces are so thin and cheap that just hand tightening the handle screws cracked the facing of the color. Also plan a good couple hours to assemble.
