We were looking for a more sturdy gazebo. We had a 10'x10' popup that was nice, but a storm destroyed it. Unfortunately, the prices of all of the better metal gazebos were quite a bit more than we were thinking of spending. We watched the prices throughout the season. Then, this one popped up one day with a fabulous price and I jumped at it. The manufacturer shipped from their warehouse locally - really just the next town over from us, so it arrived very quickly and everything was in good shape. The packaging was really fantastic with the items individually wrapped in plastic. As this came in three big/heavy cartons, I had it sitting outside under a tarp for a couple weeks before the weather cooperated and I was able to get around to setting it up. Since everything was well protected in the cartons, there were no issues. I have a lot to say about this product, so I'll try to say a little on each point. Overall, at this point, we're very happy with this model - everything arrived in a timely fashion, in good shape, and the price was unbeatable. We are on the verge of winter, so I did not put the netting or curtains up - will keep those indoors until the spring. The item is very sturdy and will easily stand up to whatever kind of weather we get over the next several months. 1. This item is drop shipped. The seller is DWVO. However, this is the Yita Home 10'x12' gazebo shown at the following location: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJPWRGWZ If you check my photos, you'll see the packaging obviously indicates it is from Yita Home. 2. I read many reviews before purchasing and everyone's tips for putting these together. Lots of folks say you need 2, 3, or 4 people to put it together. Others simply hire folks to do it. I put this together entirely by myself over a few days. You can do it yourself if you are smart about it and have a little creativity. I have 6 foot and 8 foot ladders and they were invaluable for doing this task. The instructions are pictorial, about 10 pages worth. It's best to become familiar with the instructions before starting. As you are going through the steps and actually doing it, you'll come up with some things to do which makes things easier and more efficient. The kit comes with an Allen wrench and small screw driver - do not use these, you'll tear your hands up and will not have enough leverage if your holes do not line up perfectly (and there will be some that won't). You're going to need a ratchet set and Allen bits. The kit also includes a pair of cloth gloves - there are sharp edges and the gloves will help protect your hands. 3. The instructions have you bolting down the posts at the end. I did it at the beginning. I decided that I didn't want to bolt the posts in to our patio, so instead I picked up some 40 pound 16"x16" pavers and used those to bolt the posts into. This allowed me to make small adjustments to the positioning to be sure that everything was square/level. Our patio is not level - it's kind of wavy because some big tree roots grew underneath. So, having the posts on the movable pavers made things easier finding just the right spot to have everything level. The 40 pound weights holding down each corner, along with the weight of the gazebo itself will insure that it isn't going to move, even in extremely strong winds. 4. As much as possible don't tighten down screws until you have the roof panels in place. That's easier said than done. If you get into a situation where things are not lining up and you can't brute force it, look to loosen some of the screws in the area holding adjacent things. Many times this will allow you to make small adjustments and get things to fit. If you are getting down to the end and just can't get some screws to work for you, get creative and make it work. Try using some narrower screws from your workbench, possibly get out your drill to widen the hole or put it where it needs to be, whatever - for a few screws it's not going to hurt anything. 5. If doing a self install, for screws along the center of the roof panels, you can stretch (I'm 5'9" for reference) just enough to have one hand/arm on the top with a ratchet and the other underneath with a wrench and tighten. You only need to contort to do this for a few of the panels. If you order the panels appropriately when installing, you can get those center screws from the inside/middle instead of from the outside edge. For the screws near the top of the panels, you can take care of those from the top of a ladder on the inside, putting your arm/ratchet through break between the upper roof level. 6. You want to be very sure that things are square/level from the beginning - this will make things easier as you are going through the installation steps. We're excited seeing it completed and cannot wait for spring and summer to come to be spending more time on our patio again, in the shade, protected from the bugs. ... show more

With that being said, it is not as sturdy as some of the others I have bought (I currently had a Broyhill 10x12, which was easier to put up and no missing parts bought from Big Lots 3 years ago. This time I needed a smaller size. I bought the 10x10. It looks like my original one. The design for the fabric and netting are awesome. It was missing some of the important brackets (like someone else mentioned). I tried to get a replacement and was unsuccessful. Fortunately I am very handy and I am able to make my own. Buyer beware. Check all your parts before you start assembly. It is heavy and not something you really want to have to send back if you don’t have to. Otherwise, I did like the look of the gazebo. The price was right. :) Good luck and happy assembly! Oh, and one more thing…Only pictures for instructions as the other reviewers have stated. It would have been 5 stars had all the parts been there. ... show more

    • Don't order this gazebo!!!!
Thought this was a good deal for the price ..but I was so wrong.. the gazebo arrived on time.. but we soon realized upon opening the boxes that the instruction booklet states that this gazebo isn't rated for wind.. so I contacted Amazon for a return/refund.. but they suggested I keep it and offered me $100 credit.. which sounded great! We used that credit to purchase hurri straps, heavy duty eye hooks and strong bolts to secure it to our deck in case of winds.. then we started assembling the gazebo.. no written instructions.. only pictures.. fine.. no problem.. we figured it out.. it was very hot when we assembled this.. so it took us 3 days .. getting to the end.. there's a large bag of part #(Y) which are plastic spacer blocks that the roof screws into to secure the roof panels down.. well count and make sure all 80 are there cause we were missing a bunch and after contacting the company they told us they couldn't find my order with the Amazon order number and told me to contact Amazon.. I did .. and that was an hour+ in a chat being transferred over 7 times.. and they told me they couldn't send the missing parts and the only option was to dismantle the gazebo, send it back and get a refund.. just ridiculous.. so there was nothing they could do to solve the issue so I'm writing this review to spare anyone else the headache this has been. Spend the extra money and buy a good quality gazebo from a company willing to help if you run into problems like I did. I give this company 0 stars.. 👎 ... show more
