The stove itself is very efficient and burns well. Dry wood burns completely and minimal ash is left in the box/clean out. The stove puts off a great deal of heat and can be easily controlled with all the adjustments. One negative is when the stove is hot there is some expansion in the hinge/latch that holds the door shut. It can be difficult to open at it wants to hang up. Not a deal breaker but something to be aware of so you don't bend anything out of alignment. ... show more
