Because the old outlet is located next to the refrigerator, I occasionally come into contact with refrigerator power cord. To address this issue, I recently installed the YasAo DVFR1W-1 recessed electrical box behind my refrigerator, and it works exceptionally well. This embedded box allows me to conceal cables and plugs behind the wall, creating a clean appearance without any bulky wires protruding. Previously, I purchased one to install behind a home theater setup,it is ideal for mounting televisions, appliances, monitors, or other wall-mounted devices, so I bought another one, as it helps keep everything tidy and organized. The installation process is straightforward and easy to follow. The box is spacious enough to accommodate 15/20 amp GFCI and GFI power outlets, as well as HDMI and Ethernet sockets. It is securely mounted on the drywall. After installing the duplex receptacle , there is still ample space available. I was able to install a large plug without any issues. Its versatile functions and embedded design have significantly contributed to reducing clutter. I needed this where I have very limited space next to a washing machine. I need a recessed outlet that is large enough to hold the small transformer that powers the auto-shut-off if there is a leak. The old transformer got smashed to pieces by the occasional rocking movement of the washer. The box seems well thought out. It can be attached using screws to a stud and also with the 'old work' flags at the back. I used both, so it is solidly in place. I take off one star because is too easy for the screws that hold in the outlet to strip the plastic box, making impossible to tighten the screws provided. It does not take much tension to do this. It happened to one of the two screws, so I ended up using a drywall screw instead, which worked. ... show more

This works perfectly with a minimum 3 1/2" depth standard 2 x 4 interior wall construction. It naturally offsets a 1/2" for the drywall flush installation, then the cover plate snaps over the housing and drywall. Obviously, the depth may be easily adjusted for thicker walls or drywall.

The media could not be loaded. Perfect for tv that you want to hang high up on the wall. It has a big place for all of the cords to be recessed back behind so you don’t have cords hanging down.
