Reviews can be confusing, but my take .......... If you're building for dead-on accuracy, invest in a Stabila level. If you're a DIYer and need a multi-function tool that is sufficient for pictures, cabinets, even tile, this is a good deal. This is the second Prexiso tool for me and while I wouldn't use either to build a piano, both have served me well in my work around the house. ... show more

Level is nice with feature of a laser dot and has a laser line for leveling however If you put it on top of a piece of wood moulding as I used it for it does have some weight and is a little hard to hold steady along with wood and level. To be fair I am used to the plastic 12 inch levels. All in all It does work well and only time will tell how durable it is.. ... show more
