UPDATE - after a month is gotten worse. I lowered the stars. We just can't get comfortable. I went to sit down on it to write this review and when I placed my knee on the couch to climb on I felt the bar right on my knee that took my breath away in pain. In doing my best to return this item but because it arrived in 3 large boxes and several small boxes I've been trying to work with the seller to return. I will say the storage is great but not for every day use. Not comfy. Lesson learned go to the store to try it out FIRST. UPDATE - after owning this a few weeks now. Down to 3 stars. Here are our thoughts. The cushions are extremely thin. You can feel the back bar. Our fear is if you lean back or a heavy person leans back the back brace will break. The butt cushions are not that great either. I did buy decorative pillows that we can use to also lay on but this couch is not gonna last. We do love the storage but that's truly the only thing we love about the couch. Also a few days ago, I went to move the couch and it felt like something cracked or snapped. We love this concept of this couch. We think it's perfect for someone starting out like a college person. Kids will jump and this couch will. Not. Last. Not sure what we are going to do. Seems like a pain to return as I had tons of tiny parts to put on to make the couch snap together. ************ First thoughts upon receiving this item. 4 star. I just received these boxes today, three of them. I was able to drag them inside and open them up and lay out all the pieces. It's a lot more pieces than I thought. Please be sure to read the directions carefully. I cannot stress that enough. I was able to put this couch together completely by myself, and it took approximately 3 to 3.53 hours. Had I received some help to hold some parts together?I could have shaved off at least an hour. I agree that the cushions on the back.Part definitely need more stuffing. I will be making a trip to the craft store within the next week or 22 make them a little more fluffy. We needed a couch that was going to last us a few more years before we decide to retire, and this was the perfect choice. I can do a better review after some actual use. ... show more

    • Missing sections
I contacted the seller, and they are very helpful. The package ships in 3 boxes, but one box ships separately. The tracking number for the first two boxes is the one you get from Amazon. They don't give you the second tracking number which is what caused the confusion. It arrived a day later. Product Review: This was very easy to assemble. I (46f) did it by myself except for two parts. The cushions are on the firmer side, but after living with a broken sofa that swallowed me, I like that about this sofa. The pullout part is very easy to use, and we are loving all the storage. I left a star off because of the whole tracking issue. They really should state in the listing that it arrives in two shipments, and they may not arrive at the same time. It would also be nice to have access to the second tracking number. Sturdy, pretty comfortable. Love the storage space in chais sections. My toddlers can climb onto the couch without help. We did buy some extra throw pillows, but if your on a budget i recommend this one strongly.

When I opened the boxes to begin assembly of the Sofa Sectional, I immediately saw that the sectional and fabric look like patio lawn furniture instead of bedroom or living room furniture. I purchased this Sofa Set for my 6 feet tall son to sit, relax, watch television and sleep on, etcetera. The quality of this sofa sectional is disappointingly poor. (Not what was expected or envisioned.) The item was delivered in December before the holidays and opened in January. I immediately knew after opening it that I would send it back. I had until January 31, 2026 to return. I did not expect any difficulties whatsoever in returning the. BULK item. After communicating with the manufacturer and Amazon A-Z Team, I was shocked to learn that the only option provided to return a BULK item was for me to pay the return fee of over $1,000 out of my purse, then with fingers prayerfully crossed hoping to get reimbursed by the manufacturer or Amazon. That did not happen. Of course. Unexpected. Three months of turmoil with me following the directions of the manufacturer and Amazon A-Z. My request and explanation was to get prepaid return postage from either the mail or Amazon A-Z. That did not ever happen in the course of a three month communication. Boy oh boy and girl oh girl did these two companies pull my legs and put the wool over my eyes. As shared in the pictures attached to this review the item is still boxed up and ready to ship as of Wednesday, May 27, 2026. I feel like a fool because once I realized and got it through my thick, obtuse, slow to understand skull that said companies were not going to furnish the prepaid label that Amazon normally does for NON BULK items but (oh no) no prepaid return label for BULK items like furniture. So, finally I had a light bulb moment and called my credit card company and they investigated my steps of bending over backwards to comply with Duraspace and Amazon A-Z with no results just runaround do this do that trap 22 directions. Once my credit card company verified the insincerity of the companies failure to follow through, they refunded me. Guess what?! I still DON'T want this crappy piece of Sofa Sectional that is taking up space in my walls. Lastly, the cushions when sat on sank to about 2 uncomfortable inches. Can anyone imagine getting a comfortable night's sleep on that! - trying to sleep on that. Imagine that! It is NOT worth it. The item is NOT worth it. Also, the shipping price when delivered to my address was $180.00. The shipping price for me to return the item was over $1,000.00. The shipping to rate and return back rate should be the same or at least comparable in price. Logically and customer friendly-wise Amazon should require their manufacturers to provide comparable ship to and return back rates for BULK items. This experience was a stressful shock to me and still is. However, this one experience is the only bad (stomach churning, heart racing, OMG) experience I've had with Amazon.
