  • Really Great Marble PLA!
Color: 1kg Marble
Printed perfectly on my Bambu A1 using the Sunlu PLA Marble filament profile. No stringing, great adhesions, no breakage or tangling. Seems sturdy enough. I'm using it for printing up various hooks, shelves, and boxes for my pottery tools on my Ikea Skadis pegboard. Has the typical grainy feel of marble filaments, but doesn't seem as abrasive. Still using a hardened steel nozzle (0.4). It's a pleasant, cool grey and has some depth. Overall, very happy with it and I'm already purchasing a second roll. ... show more

  • Excellent Filament
Color: 1kg Black
I am extremely impressed with the DURAMIC 3D PLA+ Filament 1.75mm 1Kg Black! This filament delivers exceptional print quality, with smooth and consistent extrusion from start to finish. It has excellent adhesion to the print bed and produces crisp, sharp details on every print. The black color is rich and solid, making it perfect for a wide range of projects. I've used several different filaments over the years, but DURAMIC PLA+ stands out in terms of durability and ease of use. The filament is not brittle and can handle intricate details without breaking or warping. It also works seamlessly with my 3D printer, maintaining a steady flow without tangling or clogging. Whether you’re a hobbyist or a professional, I highly recommend this filament for anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality PLA+. It offers fantastic value for the price and ensures that your prints come out looking polished and professional. I’ll definitely be purchasing this again! ... show more

  • Great high strength filament for the price
Color: 1kg Light Yellow
Ive bought duramic pla+ many times in the past and have great print results with it. They put out one of the most consistent lines of filament and I don't have to change my print settings too often. The flow rate is often very close kilogram to kilogram. The colors are what you would expect, slightly glossy and vibrant. I use a lot of black and white for everyday prototypes but have used most of their colors at this point. Bone white and marble being my favorites. The marble is great as is for statues. The bone white is a great Tanisha color and looked great printing a T-Rex fossils. Their strength seems to line up with what they describe in their product description and is one of my main reasons for being a return customer. Some manufacturers " pla plus" is often just pla rebranded as high strength but duramic prints are very durable. I can often get away with using less walls and lower infill to get the same results as other brands. Their claim of 98% +/- .02mm is realistic as with a fresh roll I don't have any over/under extrusion issues. I have had a couple rolls that weren't properly dried or maybe were old stock but their customer service agent Tina has quickly taken care of me every time. So If you're looking for a high quality tough filament look no further, duramic pla plus has you covered. They also have deals pretty regularly if you want to try them for the first time. ... show more

  • Needs a very clean bed, but otherwise a good quality filament, with poor quality spool
Color: 2*1kg Black
Printer: Bambu Lab P1S The good: Good strength, good layer adhesion, no odor. The bad: As others have pointed out, the spool itself is made of a poor quality cardboard that flakes off and contaminates the filament. I've not had a clog, but the cardboard specs do end up in my prints, and sometimes cause pimples on the plastic. The consideration: I was having bed adhesion issues, which improved after changing nozzle and bed temp, but still wasn't great. My bed had no visible grime, but I gave it a soap and water scrub followed by propanol wipes. This improved bed adhesion but I was still getting lifted lines in some areas. After some research I used 3M 1000 grit sandpaper in an effort to remove any oxidized coating on my bed (do at your own risk). A quick and gentle buffing followed by propanol wipes WORKED! The initial layer stuck perfectly and was noticably more uniform. Before and during all of this I was printing with Bambu Lab's PLA and had no problems with bed adhesion, so it does seem to be unique to this filament that a pristine oxide free bed is a requirement. This is NOT why I gave it 4 stars. A dirty bed is not the mfg fault. The 4/5 is for the horrible spool material. P1S settings: Base profile Bambu PLA basic Noz 240 initial 235 other Bed 53 initial 50 other Initial layer 40mm/s Inner wall 60mm/s Outer wall 70mm/s Sparse infill 250mm/s Everything else default ... show more

  • Tough PLA, Highly Recommended!
Color: 2*1kg Black
This stuff is my favorite! I've tested tons of different filaments at this point and it works best for my application (building twisty puzzles). It's easy to get accurate prints like with other PLA, but the result is much less brittle. It has a more tough springy quality. It's been extremely consistent and has produced some incredible results. Other filaments that are somewhat similar: Overture PLA+, Inland tough PLA, Polymaker PolyMax PLA, and Polymaker Polylite PLA Pro. Duramic is usually the cheapest of those so it's usually what I get. The sales for the two-packs of black have been very competitive. I wish they sold 4-packs or had some other way to buy bulk at a more consistently available discount, but the occasional sales have been incredible. Notes for printing: this is not a high speed filament. The listed top speed (80mm/s) is a decent estimate. It's capable of going a lot slower than the listed minimum (40mm/s) if needed for detailed prints. It needs a ton of cooling to avoid having the overhangs curl up. That's probably the biggest limitation with this filament. For bed adhesion I do the first layer at 230 then all other layers at 220. There's minimal stringing, but drying can help to fully eliminate it. The bed does well at 60 degrees as listed. It sticks really tightly to the new low-temp build plates (I have a glacier one from BTT). On my printer it ended up doing well at 98% flow and somewhat higher pressure advance than ordinary PLA. ... show more
