Thank you Darcell for stranding me twice using this junk in my key fobs on my truck. I bought a 6 pack in June and 1 worked up un till a couple of weeks ago I bought them for my key fobs and guitar tuners well I taught the Amazon battery were bad but this is Duracell is no better and the 1 that did work is now dead also only a few mounts in a key fob. The ones that came in my truck only lasted 2 years because that is how old the truck is I don't Rember ever having this much trouble ever I know I have owned cars and trucks and keeping them 5 to 6 years and only Rember changing one batterie in a key fob nothing last like it used to. ... show more

Bought these for my key fob. Originally, I bought Panasonic, since it was what came in the fob. They sent me six batteries in a tiny plastic baggie. None worked. Sent them back for a replacement, replacement was identical. Thought fob was broken, but original (almost dead) battery worked better than they did. Gave up and returned them. Bought these. They came in the legit six-pack packaging, with each able to be taken out individually. Popped it in and worked immediately. Will only buy Duracell from now on! ... show more

    • Won’t work in Apple Air Tags, but great for car key fobs

These are great for long-lasting use in car key fobs, but be aware they may not work in Apple Air Tags due to the child-safety bitterness coating. That came as a surprise to me, but Apple Air Tags apparently won’t work with batteries that have these bitterness coatings. I went to change the battery in an Air Tag and tried a couple of these batteries, but the Air Tag didn’t recognize that any new battery had been installed. I thought that maybe I had defective batteries or a defective Air Tag, but then I researched the issue online and learned that Air Tags won’t accept batteries with bitterness coatings. I picked up some other off-brand batteries without any bitterness coating, and they immediately were recognized by the Air Tag. With that said, these are great for other purposes that won’t have that compatibility issue, such as vehicle key fobs. They’ll provide the longevity you’d expect from Duracell. ... show more

I ordered these batteries since I needed them and it was not until they arrived that I noticed all the child safety features. First is the packaging. These batteries are sealed up tight. No child will be able to get to them and I venture to guess it will thwart some adults as well. Not me, I am a manly man and no trouble getting the battery out in under 10 minutes time. I then noticed that they have a bitter coating. Not having children myself, I felt it was up to me to test that feature. I popped my newly freed battery into my mouth and within 15 seconds was spitting it back out again. They do not taste pleasant as all. In fact the taste lingers for a long time and should tech any child to never put one back in their mouth again. I feel that I should go ahead and test a few more to make sure that quality control is there. Overall, these batteries are the tops of pop when it comes to child safety. Great deal on the batteries, but the package was extremely difficult to open - anyone with arthritis or weak hands should pick another option.. I ended up cutting each battery out with scissors.
