  • handles poorly
After using Continental tires these tires are not a good replacement on an older motorcycle for sure

  • Excellent tire and pattern
I chose 5 stars for the quick delivery time, that it came in a box, tread pattern is aggressive, and looks great overall. I would recommend this tire to the diehard vintage or classic motorcycle enthusiast. The speed rating is not recommended for faster bikes. Since I tend to stay at lower speeds, I will be fine with the speed rating. The tread depth looks to be about 11/32nds of an inch. Pretty deep. Over a quarter of an inch. We'll see how it fairs on the road. It certainly looks like it could take some off-road conditions as well, but maybe on the light trail road and nothing too severe. The tread is not directional-specific. You can mount it either way on your rim/wheel. I believe, since this was my first time ever mounting a bike wheel, that the 3/8" yellow painted circle stamped on one side of the tire represents the 'balance mark' that I've come to learn about, but having no experience, I do not know. Maybe JC Motors can add that into their description of the tire as well so it can be. for lack of a better term, 'dumbed down' for us novices. • Dunlop makes great tires. These are awesome crossover dual sport street/dirt tires. Perfect for vintage bikes
I bought a pair- front and rear for my vintage-restored '71 Honda Motocross SL 350. It had knobbies on it which were just too much for pavement or hard gravel roads. I am not hill climbing or canyon jumping. Just riding rural dirt roads and two tracks. For fun and not the challange. I was having a lot of noise, balance and "tromping" issues with the dirt-knobbies on hard surface... Tuned the forks, changed the tires and several problems gone all at the same time. These are great dual sport cross over tires. Agressive enough to churn dirt and still sweet on hard surface. Run them 5-10psi under for dirt; say 25 rear, 18 front. Perfect on a light bike. Dunlop has been around for eons. Quality rubber and they scored a bullseye with this dual sport crossover tire! Awesome tire for vintage bikes. ... show more

  • I love them
These are awesome made my bike look way more retro and they perform so much better than the stock tires. They are not as nice on smooth perfect roads but where I live we don't have those we have broken s***ty wet roads and they are amazing on those or on dirt roads . They fit my tu250 great other than the front was too tall for my fender so I'm making fender brackets to fit it. Not sure how long they last will repost when I find out. But beyond happy with these. ... show more

  • Perfect Vintage Tire
I'm currently restoring my second 1971 Honda CB750-K1 and wanted a tire that closely resembled what was originally offered on these machines. The Dunlop fit the bill perfectly. The tread pattern is spot-on when compared to the image in the original fiche image in the Honda part listing for this bike. I can't wait to complete this project and see how this tire handles out on the road. I'm thinking I need to get a second one to put on my first 750 now! ... show more
