This little machine makes ice very quickly. When I get home from work, all I have to do is push the little button and it makes ice for me. This ice machine is very quiet and makes as much ice as advertised, so we are very happy with it.

I've only had this for a few days but so far I'm pretty happy. It's a small model, perfect for a single person or small family. Go bigger if you're buying for the office. It's a little bit noisy but it's in the kitchen so it doesn't much matter to me. It makes ice quickly and often. So far, I think it was a good purchase and definitely worth the money.

This is a compact and attractive unit and is simple to operate. All that is required is to plug it in, fill the water compartment in the front to the full mark, select the ice size, and turn it on. In very short order you will have one of two sizes of "bullet" style ice. The ice is shaped like the dead of a bullet, and there is a hollow core; the thickness of the "wall" is about 3/16". The ice is not crystal clear, rather it s opaque and frosty. it takes about 20 minutes to produce about 8-10 cups of ice, it is not instant, but it pops the ice out pretty quick. The unit runs very quietly and has a warm exhaust flow from one side. Once the removable ice basket is full, it automatically turns off. This is very handy if you do not have a full size fridge/ freezer, say as in a cabin or RV. The rated current draw is 2 amps, so it likely would run off of many 12V powered inverters. I would say this is a good deal for the price, assuming a reasonable lifespan of proper operation The machine comes in 3 styles of black, one is matte finish, one is smooth deep black, and the other appears to be a sort of generic general issueblack plastic style You have to lok pretty closely at the photos to figure it out. The machine is about the size of 2 small personal coffee makers, so pretty compact. It also has a self cleaning mode available in the simple intuitive controls.

Here's my thoughts on this portable ice maker: 1) The machine is very easy and simple to use. The functions are clearly marked on the machine. 2) It's pretty quiet. My cat (being really nosy) actually sat near this machine as it was making ice. She normally runs from any loud appliance. So, this is a very nice aspect to this machine. 3) It took one hour to make a full basket of ice and about 9-10 minutes for the first set of cubes to be made. After the first set of cubes dropped in the basket, it seemed to get a little faster. I made the small ice cubes (pictured) but you can change the setting and make large ice cubes. A couple of things to note: They recommend using pure/filtered water in this machine. Also, when you first get it, per the instructions, it says to let the machine sit upright for the first 24 hours before first use. This allows the coolant to settle to the bottom of the machine. They also recommend you discard the first 4 baskets of ice you make in order for the machine to be adequately cleaned. Overall, this is doing a good job so far and I'm happy with it.

Got this so our daughter could make ice in her dorm room next year. It should work well for that purpose. The machine is as advertised and works as expected. After letting it sit out of the box for 24 hours (per the instructions), I put water in and turned it on. It makes 9 cubes every six minutes. The tray was full at about the 2-hour mark. The ice stayed cold while new ice was freezing but it did start to melt once the tray was full. Produces a good amount of ice for its size and the unit was reasonably cheap. Not too loud has a medium amount of sound you can hear it when it's on. It's really easy to set up you just have to remove the blue tape securing everything down and fill it full of water and plug it in and press the on button you get to pick if you want large ice or small lice. That also has a cleaning cycle built in. They also include a handle that makes it easy to move. It's great cuz it's not too big and it has enough ice for two people. I would recommend it because it's reasonably priced and it does a good job.
