This is a really fun fake fireplace, and a very good buy too. The heat is pretty good, but the jury is still out. The visual flames are great - you might want to skip the fake twigs that they give you because they really do look fake. It can be a little tricky to mount on a wall as the whole in the mounting bracket may not match you stubs. But, you can easily drill ( with a little pressure) the holes that you need. You will need 2 people to wall mount it. It also comes well packaged - the packing weighs at least 10lbs. The unit itself probably weighs 35lbs. I didn't have any problem getting the glass off to load the crystals. Overall so far a good buy and a lot of fun in my home theatre. ... show more

Very happy with this purchase. Love the thermostat. Just have it on the floor for now. Will mount to the wall. Very quiet, warms the room and looks pretty doing it. Only complaint is you have to remove the glass front and install the little "glass" pieces and "logs" yourself. There is no stop to hold them in place so they kept falling out when we were re-attaching the glass front. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. ... show more
