I'm extremely happy with the product. I ran it for 4 cycles upon receipt after washing it of course. then set it up and let it go. It is performing great. It takes about 30 minutes for the first batch of ten cubes, but it runs much faster batch after batch. I keep a container of filtered water out to refill the machine, which isn't often. I let the ice melt overnight with the machine off and then turn it on in the morning. This unit is my back up to my 35 years-old ice making top freezer fridge. Instead of constantly opening my freezer to get ice, I'll use this. It is economical to keep my fridge and freezer close through the day. The size is like an air fryer, and the ice comes out crystal clear. Teh basket is easy to place and remove, and I love the included scoop. should I need to drain the unit, there is a bottom secure plug. I have the black unit and it looks great along with my other small appliances.

Makes the perfect sized ice within minutes. I followed the instructions and let it sit upright for 24hrs before plugging in and using. Within fifteen minutes of turning it on, I had ice. Very quiet while running. No leaking or outside condensation. Perfect size for the counter we use it on. Best decision I’ve made for keeping ice in my cup. Highly recommend because the price is low for amazing quality.

This is a nice little unit that makes ice cubes relatively quickly, but don't need a lot of ice. The unit would be great for camping (as long as you have power) or occassions where you need a little extra ice and don't have time for your refrigerator to turn out a big batch. My first unit arrived and was easy to set up. Be sure to clean the internals well, and follow the instructions to throw the first few batches out. After getting it ready, I filled it with water and turned it on to make large ice cubes. It started up and churned a batch of 9 round cubes about every 8 minutes. Once the bin is full, a sensor shuts it off. However, after my unit shut off that was it, it would not continue making cubes. The control panel would not respond, even unplugging for a few days did not help. I returned the first unit and exchanged for another one. The second one started up and worked great as well. Happily, it has continued to work well for many batches of cubes since then. My first unit must have had some internal problem, but the second one worked just fine. Keep in mind that this ice maker does just that - makes ice. It does not make any attempt to keep the fresh ice from melting. You can't run it and leave the ice for use tomorrow, as the ice will melt. However, the clever design is such that the melted ice goes back into the water container, and when it senses the ice level go down, it will start to make cubes again. In a way, it will try to keep the ice full, but keep in mind it won't keep it from melting otherwise. The cubes come out nicely rounded and will fit the neck of most water bottles. Due to the way the cubes are formed they are not as dense as regular ice cubes from your refrigerator, and are opaque in appearance. Not a big problem, but you will use more ice than normal as they don't last as long in your drink. Overall, I really like this ice maker and plan to use it on my next camping trip to keep a constant supply of cubes for my water bottles. It's minor flaws don't outweigh the convenience of it! One last point to consider, this unit uses a new "climate friendlier" refrigerant called Pentane. Although it may be more climate friendly, it is also highly flammable and there is a large warning label on the unit. Avoid damaging the unit, and all should be fine!

I've only had this one day but I absolutely love it. I filled up my whole ice bin in my freezer already. They're cute little ice ovals with holes in the middle, that float in your drink. I was sick to death of making ice. And now all I have to do is fill it up with water.

Worked well for a month and then stopped making ice. Tried all of the troubleshooting tips without success. The tips to call a tech as part of troubleshooting are ridiculous since the tech would cost more to show up than the cost of the ice machine. Better than expected! I love that you can have small or large cubes. Due to the large ice holder it is a little nosy when dropping ice but that's the only down side I've found.
