Criticism: 1. The pistons don't keep the bed platform completely, solidly closed. It's in no danger of falling open by itself, but it'd be nice if the cabinet closed flush. 2. No stickers to cover the hardware, so I bought them myself. Also, the written instructions are bad since not all pieces are clearly labeled, etc. However, the YouTube videos are a FAR better resource. Also, the bed platform/door is REALLY flimsy when putting it up and down, but once up or down is fine. Also, the bed doesn't appear to be weak even with 3 people laying on it. WITH ALL OF THAT SAID, one can EASILY spend more money on a Murphy bed, and I am sure (at least, I'd hope), that some of these little quality issues aren't a thing on those units. But it's solid enough out of the box and not bad to look at from a distance. Most importantly, it should work great for years. ... show more

Wow, what a deal . We needed an occasional bed for a room for a room that doubled as an office. I would easily do this again if I really needed it. Caution it takes longer than you would think. Some difficulty from orientation of pieces that you need to disassemble if you are not aware of until it is semi put together. If I owned the company I would make better instructions and a better video. ... show more
