    • Adds Another Level to Your Workouts
This thing is great. Honestly stop reading and just buy it. I've only had it for a few days but it has added a whole other level to my workouts, and greatly expanded the number of exercises I can do with my dumbbell set. The bar is built really well and SUPER easy to use. I weighed it at 5.4 LBS, bar is made of steel and from what I can tell does not flex with 2x 50s, which are my largest weights. I have the old-style cast iron dumbbells and they fit into the handle very well. The foam liner seems durable and grabs well. There *is* about a half inch of slip but a slice of pool noodle takes up the slack perfectly. The locking mechanism works fine and should not come undone as long as you are not dropping the bar like a powerlifter. I connected 2x 30s and shook it as hard as I could but the locks didn't budge. Value: I went with this product over more expensive products because A. it's an incredibly simple design and B. I wanted the quicker locking mechanism, which seems to be the only difference between this one and the version that's twice as expensive. I'm glad I chose this one as I use many different weights during my routine, and this locking mechanism allows me to change weights in literal seconds. ... show more

Don’t sleep on this. What a great addition to the minimalist “gym” I have at home. It has definitely helped me expand on my strength training routine, while saving space and money for a gym membership just to be able to have access to extra equipment. The screw that keeps the bar from rotating broke immediately. Fixed it with JB weld and it has been awesome since then.
