My absolute favorite rhing ive purchased on amazon. I get alot of compliments on it. Its very large and thats what i wanted. Im 5'1 and its almost as tall as i am. I cant figure out the remote but it has a place to manually turn it on and it works pefectly with my natiral gas.

The media could not be loaded. This ventless fireplace is great! The surround assembles easily by using provided bolts and metal anchors are in the wood. The firebox slides into the surround and easily converts from propane to natural gas. The pilot light took a few minutes on initial startup due to air in the gas lines (expected). The temperature control on the remote is great (just needed to be paired to the fireplace). The heat output is also quite good in my house with a open floorplan. The wall mounted TV above the fireplace remains cool due to the TV being elevated and a few feet back from the fireplace. Only con was a minor blemish on the surround. ... show more

    • Beautiful mantle, “ok” flame-when it actually works

Purchased to replace an old mantle in a home with a sealed off fireplace. The mantle is beautiful and well made. The flame is just ok. It puts off a nice amount of heat- when it actually works. Had it installed, took an hour to get it to light. After that... it hasn’t worked consistently. It will run sometimes with no issues... other times, it will run for two minutes and then kick off. Most often, it won’t open gas flow for it to even ignite a fire. We initially called the company but after 96 minutes in que with no one answering the phone, we decided to call the installer. He replaced a part... still didn’t fix it. We called another repair man- he replaced a regulator and an oxygen sensor... still didn’t fix it. Called the company three more times and after 40+ minutes in que, once again no one picking up the phone... I temporarily gave up. As of right now, for what we have paid attempting to get this thing to work, I could have restored the firebox and had a wood burning or gas insert installed.
